I reported them to the Canada Education Savings Program at Employment and Social Development Canada. I recommend everybody do the same so we can all work together and have this place investigated as well as get the money that is rightfully ours.

Horrible place to manage money for your children's education in. Barrage you with fees that can potentially total 40% of what you are trying to store in the first place. Will reject your application to receive your money as much as they can even though all the information is correct but there is some loophole they can exploit to hold your money.

Really bad experience with this organization. It was only 2K interest over 18 years of my investment. The sales charges were more than 2K. No manager or higher management available to talk. Left message to call me back with higher management and still waiting for the call back. It would be wise to keep your money in the bank with even low interest rate and you will end up making more money. Never go them.

Global has designed the Best RESP plan for kids. One of the most flexible RESP Plan in the industry.. Education is the best gift you can give to your child and Global RESP is the right plan for kids to take care of their post secondary education expense..

Literally the worst service to get your funds to pay tuition or other post-secondary expenses. As many parents do, my parents as well got me a RESP fund through Global when I was quite young hoping this would help save and pay for my future education. When finally being in university it was time to cash out on this fund. Requesting your money that was put in the RESP is such hassle, and they take ages to release your funds. Lapsing on payments due to idiotic inexplicable reasons of funds not being released on time is the story of my undergraduate career. Global is slow to react and painstakingly bureaucratic. During tuition payment time for the last 4 years of my undergrad Global has been a thorn in my side. The way they handled my parents hard earned savings that are rightfully mine for my education is appalling. The point of an RESP is to feel secure about your children's future education, but with global there was no such security. Also it is important to add that the staff is not very helpful while answering questions about when funds are going to be released and not very responsive. Overall no parent or student should go through such an experience in obtaining their own funds to support their education. The mismanagement and the delays are unnecessary stress that this company creates for their consumer.

This is my second review. It's been almost a FULL YEAR since I've started my request to transfer my funds to a new institution and Global still HAS NOT delivered my cheque. They've also cancelled my access to my account even though the transfer hasn't been completed. This is beyond ridiculous. I am really praying that no one else falls for your scam. Please if you're looking to invest your money STAY FAR AWAY! Let my mistake be a lesson.

that was a mistake to invest here, they lock you and loose your child money, If I knew how they manage my money, I would never do it. in last couple years they charged me $2514 and I lost $1112 in total I lost $3626 can I be worst than this? and they won't let you go, you have to give them your child's money for 17 years.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid, sorry, run, run, run away as fast as you can.Your money will not grow with them.They will charge so much Fees and Sales Charges + Applicable taxes" you will be left with less than you invested in RESP. On top of that they charge you "Account Maintenance Fees" + HST on everything.They will tell you you can transfer RESP to other sibling. True but they dont tell you there is a "Change of Beneficiary Fee" + HST.If your tax professional suggest you to invest

Terrible company! Don't give them anything unless you hate your kids!Got subscribed by a ''friend 10 years ago. Paid 2.5K every year. Made 1.4k in interest over 10 years period and (!) paid them 5.7K in Fees (!!!).So you count... after 10 years of payments I lost (!!!) $3

Worst experience, with any business I have ever had. Worst than with telco's or contractors. In my opinion, the return on my principal was terrible. Trying to get the money to my son when he was in University was terrible. Customer service was really, really bad. Worst experience ever.
