EFW Radiology - Southport Atrium Clinic

This is a great little radiology center to come to. They perform ultrasounds, x-rays, and mammograms to patients with a requisition. They also have the ability to burn your images onto a CD/DVD disc (at an extra charge, unless your doctor specifies this on your req).Friendly techs and staff members, though. Would recommend!

Lovely cheerful staff at reception. That’s not the problem. We brought a disabled man in a wheelchair (told the booking agent we had a wheelchair when making the appointment for this location). The Ultrasound Technician was lovely but unable to offer an actual handicapped washroom ( which is needed for part of the test as they need to measure post void residual). One washroom is too small for a wheelchair and has a bar and the larger one that fits a wheelchair has no grab bar, thus no accessible washroom. I overheard the staff conversation that a bar was requested prior and denied! Really?!! That’s a basic need for even elderly people never mind someone with special needs in a wheelchair. I’m sure EFW makes plenty of money to install grab bars in the washroom. It’s unbelievable that was denied upon request, and that there isn’t one to start with in the first place! It cost the time of the ultrasound technician who so kindly helped with the whole process trying to navigate and accommodate the best she could and most likely was now behind schedule for others waiting as a result of the whole ordeal. Terribly disappointed with EFW in this case.

Terrible service. Do not recommend. The moment I walked in everyone was snotty. I had a lady do my baby ultrasound that was in training she was quite nice but the senior that was overseeing her was completely rude in several different ways. This is my third baby so I knew what I should have expected and it certainly wasn’t like any of my other experiences. Needless to say I left in tears. Also I don’t need a reply saying “we’re sorry we have high standards.” You clearly don’t if everyone is complaining about your location. Just do better.

Horrified by the lack of compassion and common sense at this clinic. One support person is allowed in for pregnancy ultrasounds, yet a woman whom had just suffered a traumatic miscarriage was told her partner could no longer join her as she is no longer actively pregnant"

This place gets worse and worse! Every single one of the staff that work here are rude and have no manners no respect and especially for veterans and or active military service personnel. How can you support a business that doesn’t even have respect for veterans and or active service members that defend the freedoms of this country to allow these type of people to even be in this country and to work at this place, you do not deserve to be treated in a horrible manner and be disrespected, considering the situation you’re in which allows you to have to come to this type of place! There is no compassion there is no caring there’s not even any type of friendliness, so don’t put up with this type of behaviour and give taxpayers money to places like this that allow this type of behavior, and this type of service to be allowed!

Friendly, Fast, and clean.Didn't do any pregnancy just like the review said, but had a regular radiology and it was fine. Allowed both my Dad and I to be in the same room just to translate

I expected a better place then this. I went to seton location for first couple of ultrasound and they were amazing so my expectations were high. This was my anatomy ultrasound, they took me in half an hour late and the technician seemed so confused that I still don’t know what she did and wasted my 1 and half hour there. Eventually I had to book another appointment because according to her they didn’t get what they were looking for. I won’t recommend this location for pregnancy ultrasound

Friendly reception but technicians (or at least the one I had) had zero compassion. I had a painful hernia (while pregnant) so my doctor had sent me for an ultrasound. My technician, Adrienne, wouldn’t allow me to see my baby on the screen. Ridiculous.

I don't recommend this place. They don't take good pictures of your baby when doing an ultrasound. I even asked if I could take some pictures in the beginning and they said that they would give the pictures in the end. The pictures that I saw while they were doing the exam look very different than the ones that I saw while on the exam.It looks like Canada is becoming pretty bad in any health service.
