Worst place to work ever managment is a joke aswell as the cook never has any of the food needed to do you job absolute joke of a place

Feel thankful to work within a team that collectively puts the residents first. We aren't the most beautiful facility you will step foot in- we will not wow you with 30 foot ceilings and crystal chandeliers... But it is cute and warm and inviting and homey. I will say of all my years in health care this home has Heart! And it is just that-the heart that makes the difference. LC is a family. We love our residents.

My mom was there for 9 months and me or my girlfriend went a few times a week. That way we cared for mom, talk to others and feel out how things were there. For one thing the doors except for the main front entrance, do not have automatic handy cap push buttons, so the majority of people in wheel chair or walkers must open them manually. To me that’s such a fire hazard. We wanted to volunteer , but quickly realized if we did we would surly be fired for our opinions, which we wouldn’t be able to hold in.Instead we just helped cut up food, push them to their rooms and just sit and talk as long as they want.This way we weren’t we could do what we saw was needed, without being on the schedule. The cook ( NOT A CHEF) as stated, feeds residents very poor quality food.The majority is frozen, not homemade meals.The residents have complained since he started over 2 years ago. The only reason he is still there is because La Chaumiere won’t pay a decent wage so nobody wants the job.They also are so under staffed. The same goes for nurses wages there. Good thing I brought her to spend days or even a week at a time to my home. Its cheaper than most for a big reason.We took mom out of there.

Management is absolutely unprofessional, unorganized, lose the residents property as well as flat out lie to you. I have never dealt with such incompetence, arrogance and outright stupidty in my life. This place needs to be managed proplerly. Unbelievably gross.Now we've been accused of taking an oxygen tank from this home. Unbelievable. I really do not understand how this place keeps the doors open. They cannot find equipment so they accuse family members of theft. My mother was moved from this place months ago and yet, we still have issues with them.First they misplaced " a bed rail and Walker that were rentals. It took weeks to remedy the situation as the management would not return the items to the business and continually stated we had taken the equipment to the new facility with us. After that was dealt with
