John has provided an excellent service digitizing my dad's obsolete but timeless 49 years old Super8 film and providing it on a 32GB flashdrive. What really stood out was how easy and effortless the process was in discussing services needed and mailing in the footage. John let me know when the footage was received and kept me in the loop on the status of the order. I will for sure be coming back when other tapes need to be converted. Thanks for the service, John!

I have been digitizing my old film reels, and more recently, obsolete video formats at Lifetime Heritage Films for a few years now. Every time I am amazed at the quality of the digitizations. These digitizations give a whole new life to these decades old home movies, and the memories captured on them live longer because of the great work that John at Lifetime Heritage Films does.John has also been a great resource in all things audio-visual. He is always helpful when I have questions about certain formats and digitization processes, and his expertise is reflected in the product.

I rarely bother to post reviews. My experience with Lifetime Heritage makes it impossible not to. I'm on a documentary team who was introduced to Lifetime Heritage by a third party. After I had difficulties getting a clean capture of a fifty-year old reel-to-reel tape, I was introduced to John at Lifetime Heritage. John almost instantly produced a vastly better recording that we had been able to procure. It was revelatory and alone was useable with minor tweaks. However, when we noted a small intermittent issue he reviewed and concluded it needed to be improved. He and his team recaptured the piece repeatedly and noted that the issues weren't always in the same place. This meant we could blend his versions to create a perfect digital file. Yet even that was not enough for John. He decided to try recording the tape backwards and then reversing the digital audio file. When very minute clipping was found in those, he then retrieved a different reel-to-reel player and capture it what by then easily could have been the TENTH time. And lo and behold, he rendered improvements everywhere yet again (when the quality of the very first pass was beyond our dreams to begin with, even with its tiny quirks!)I so rarely experience this kind of commitment and professionalism that I insisted he invoice me more than he wanted to! And it still is not enough! So a rapturous Google Review will have to suffice. They're simply amazing!

I took in reels of film from 1930, not knowing the condition, but wanting it digitized. Not only old, it was from France, in a different format from film in the US. John gave me a correct estimate of the condition of the film and when it was finished, I was delighted! He took care of my film and all of my family is grateful. Professional and friendly, it was excellent service.

Recently had a +20 year old VHS tape (in good condition) made into a USB flash drive as well as a DVD disk. Quality was very good. Price was reasonable and turnaround time was 2 business days. Lifetime Heritage Films used name brand products (flash drive/DVD) which is important for long term preservation. Owner gave good recommendation on which app to utilize for USB play on MAC computer. A nice touch was the personalized label/picture that was affixed to DVD cover & disk. Would definitely recommend this company.Melanie(February 2022)

I was doing some spring cleaning and came across a roll of super8 film. After calling around to a few businesses with outlandish prices, I came across Lifetime Heritage Films. John was very responsive and made the whole process very easy. I mailed the roll over and he let me know when he received it. From there, my part was done and he notified me when it was all cleaned up and digitized. Since I didn't need a flash drive, John was able to just send me a download link, which was super convenient for me. If I find any other vintage media, I'll definitely be using Lifetime's services again. Thanks, John!

The film came back in great condition in a very timely manner, and the digitized copies look incredible! Would not hesitate to send more film to Lifetime Heritage Films.

John did a fabulous job putting our old VHS tapes onto DVDs. They were from an Everest Base Camp trip my partner did with his daughter in the late nineties. He wasn't the taper; they were a gift from somebody else on the trek. Excellent memories that we (okay, mainly he :-) can enjoy again. Thanks, John. Very professionally done.

LHF did an incredible job with digitizing a set of historical films I needed to include in a documentary I was doing about the early research carried out in Wells Gray Provincial Park. The 70 year old images were rendered flawlessly and I would whole-heartedly recommend John and LHF for everything from commercial work through to preserving family reels.
