We recently hosted my sister's engagement party and everything was perfect and top notch. Shaheen did an amazing job with the decorations and went above and beyond. Everything was organized, professional, and the staff was exceptional. All guests talked about how nice the hall was and how tasty the food was. Will always host parties here because of how smooth everything went, staff always answers calls and gets back to you, also making sure that all needs are met! Thank you Candles!

I recently had my wedding at Candles Banquet hall and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The food was delicious and received many compliments along with the decor which was absolutely stunning. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. This is a family run business where the owners are so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process, making everything so easy for us. Overall, it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish and I can't wait to host my next event here. We recently hosted my sister's wedding here and it was spectacular. I've been to many events at Candles Banquet Hall over the years and this was our first time hosting an event and everything went so smoothly. Shahryar and family were so accommodating and had the whole venue setup beautifully. The floor staff were very kind and timely with the food/cleaning, we did not have to worry about anything other than our guests. They had separate rooms, décor, audio/visual and prayer mats all covered. Shaheen also did an amazing job with the décor, it was such a beautiful selection and everything was arranged so nicely. No areas were too crowded and the décor suited the event and colors very well.Would recommend this venue to anyone for wedding/celebration events as this family and team are very customer oriented and helpful.

We had our wedding at Candles last month and it was spectacular! Shaz and the fam are so great at making sure your day exceeds your expectations and they really put some true effort into making that happen! They were so flexible and worked with us and accommodated our requests, communication throughout was so great!Shaheen did most of our decor and she is so amazing at what she does. She worked with us and helped us choose decor that would look the best with our vision. The hall looked even better than we expected, it was breathtaking! The recent renovations are beautiful, the hall is beyond gorgeous!!The staff at Candles are so great, so friendly! The bartenders and waiting staff were amazing!! There was never a lineup at the bar, and food came out in a timely manner. Big props to the chefs in the kitchen too, wow! All the food was so delicious and tasted exactly the same as at our tasting! We had a Portuguese seafood midnight table too and it was spot on! Best mussels I've ever had! It was a hit and even approved by the Portuguese elders!This is a family run business and you can really tell how much they all care about making sure every event held at their hall is phenomenal and their clients are happy. Well we are beyond happy and cannot thank you guys enough for making our wedding day one of the best days ever! We are still getting compliments about it from our guests! A true hidden gem!!

My sister had her wedding a couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is that we had an amazing experience with Candles Banquet Hall. Ahmed was easy to talk to, and his sister, Shaheen, did an amazing job decorating the place. The food is tasty. Our guests also enjoyed it! Keep up the good work, Candles! Will definitely recommend them to anyone.

We viewed quite a few venues and decided to go with Candles which actually was the last on our list to view! We had our reception here yesterday and most definitely were very happy with everything. Food was great. The Team we worked with are amazing. Staff on the day of event were polite and helpful. And the venue was decorated absolutely beautifully. All our guests left with Fab remarks of how amazing everything looked! Thank you Candles -Shaz and Shaheen!

Had my wedding yesterday. 5 stars is way too low for these absolute gems at Candles Banquet Hall. Shaz Shaheen and the dad in the mafia hat were amazing hosts went way above and beyond to help me have a perfect reception. Their flexibility and family business mindset were incredible. The soup was so good I contemplated kidnapping the chef. The food was extraordinary. Seafood at midnight was amazing they don't usually do seafood but Shaz will basically make anything happen to make your day perfect.I won't write an essay but of all of the halls I met with and I've been in a ton of family wedding candles is the place to get married. Period. You're crazy if you go anywhere elseThanks Shaz Shaheen my wedding was amazing.Actually they deserve an essay. The price was insanely good from the start but shaz went out of his way to help me save money after the fact. He didn't have to but did in multiple ways. My nieces and nephews and child cousinscovered the dancefloor in flower petals and he got it cleaned up before the dancing. When I saw him I apologized for trashing the floor and he laughed at me and said it's a banquet hall". So good. They deserved seats at a table. Shaheen worked perfectly with our other decorators and holy hell it was beyond anything I could've imagined. Shaz even stashed some of my favorite beer for me even though it was more expensive and not usually stocked for weddings.OK essay done. Perfect wedding. Great family business. Book here.Nope one more. The staff was great. Friendly. On top of everything. Timings were phenomenal. Military training doesn't get you this disciplined."

My wife and I had our Valima event in November 2022 at Candles.This is a family business that has been in this business for generations and does amazing work.Shaz and Shaheen treated us both with the most respect, heard all our requests and gave us the most memorable event within our budget.Never once did myself or my family have to stress about anything and Shaz was at the event from start to finish making sure everything went smoothly.It’s a very different experience, something that you won’t get anywhere else in the GTA.Highly recommend this place for any event, the best in the business.

I held a surprise 65th birthday party here. Shaheen, Shaz and the whole Candles team did an amazing job. From start to finish they were accommodating, patient and professional. Everyone can't stop raving about the food and service. I owe a huge thank you to them. We will be booking Candles for all our events!
