Indigo - Barrie

Not bad. It does seem like they're selling more toys and housewares than books however. Magazines have a smaller area, less 'top picks' or genre suggestions though. Wide open store, very spaced out and we'll thought out design. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Visually this store is absolutely beautiful, the way the merchandise is displayed. Displays are well arranged, and there is something to look at everywhere you turn. I read some of the other reviews saying that they don't find this store cozy, that it doesn't have a big enough selection, or that it's too focused on decor now. But for me, as someone who had to travel to this location because the closest Indigo to me is a tiny little store, I found this location to be dazzling lol, and every book on my wish list was easily found in store- and it's a long list. I still will most likely continue to purchase my books via their app, because I know the genres I like and I stay on top of the new releases. So for me, seeing all the new decor and home products in-person was a nice change because who wants to look through pages and pages of items on an app? I saw gifty" things in store I never would have came across online. Also I love the card section. Well worth the drive."

Love this store it doesn't have just books but everything you would need for your office as well as home .

Very overpriced...went in to look for book which they didn't have and just browsed abit. Saw a plastic kettle for $135 that had no special features. Why even keep a bricks and mortar open with prices like that.

Smaller with far fewer selections. I looked for a specific book and they didn't have it and she's one of the more popular fiction writers. Their lighting in the store is poor, not a great ambiance to browse and relax.

Love this location of Indigo, but my only complaint is about the way they have arranged books, there are no sign where to find where; staffs are really helpful though. There were some computers which were helping people to find the location of books they are looking for and they have eliminated them for some reasons??!.As an Avid book reader who shops alot there I have to say that it is so frustrating when you know for instance your book will be in Well- Being section, but there is no indication of any kind where the heck is that location would be. A signage, a map, arrows on the floor, anything would be helpful.

The kids' area has a great selection of books. But there are a lot of toys, so prepare to tell your little ones no a lot, lol.

Always helpful staff. Usually shopping with my daughter. The staff always talk to her with respect even though she is young. Something I can really appreciate.
