Food is decent but recently when they moved to paper bags for takeout, they are a whopping 50 cents. sure 50 cents might not be much but it doesnt feel right as other stored all have their bags at 10 cents. Not only that, the only way to not get charged that fee is by ordering in the store which will result in you sitting there for a while and u have to pay the bag fee when calling for take out when i have my own bagI thought paying for bags is to help the environment and motivate us to buy reusable bags, not to make a profit from.

This use to be my favourite go to for sushi but the quality has definitely gone downhill… we ordered a full order of sashimi and felt that we got jipped off. One slice now is equivalent to 2 slices in the past. It’s super thin and has much more fat content than previously.

The best of best Sushi garden among all locations. Staffs were so accommodating and kind. I love how happy they are at work.And I was super amazed by how great the tempura was. It was so crispy and fresh. I almost cried for it. And look at the portion of the nigiris. They were all giant and tasty. It was my first time trying Uni nigiri. And it did not disappoint me at all. It was really fresh. Plus, the Alaska roll and house roll was so big and the ingredients were generously stuffed. And I had tempura udon as well, it was such a good deal. Udon was so flavorful and the portion of tempura was great. If I have to come here by myself, I will order this tempura udon and Salmon nigiri.I am so in love with this location.And all my loving ones were so happy and satisfied too :) thank you for the great service and foods!

Most reasonably priced sushi I've seen in metro Vancouver area with fresh ingredients. We had salmon and amaebi shrimp sashimi and ended up ordering uni dishes. Nigiris met expectations as well. We also had tempura udon and it came with four pieces of tempura on the side (3 kinds of veg + shrimp). This will be my go to sushi place from now on.Edit: went here again and their sushi and sashimi are still good, but kimchi yaki udon was not good. Better stick to their main dishes. Other udon with broth was okay, but kimchi yaki udon felt like it was leftover thrown in together.

Nicely presented food but unfortunately all sushis were tasting almost same, that was a weird experience. Even the chicken karage wings or the tempura had a flat taste. Luckily the udon were ok. So for a dinner for two at $50, you will walk out full but still not really pleased. That's my 2 cents. Parking is ok, and for the atmosphere, forget it, it's cafeteria style. And to end this talk, once I saw the cleanliness of the ceiling, I won't go back there, sorry.

Ordered a spicy tuna tempura roll, it came and wasn’t even spicy and it was cooked with the skin, disgusting. I politely told the server this isn’t what I expected at all and I wanted to send it back. He said because I had tried one of the roll I have to pay for it. I was going to send it back and order more rolls but because of that horrible service I only ordered one of the cheapest rolls. I ordered the spicy tuna roll. Then, 15 minutes later I ask another server if it was put in. I see them look at each other in panic as it was not put in, obviously. The spicy tuna roll comes out looking like THAT (see pic below). The roll was made so poorly I should have sent it back but I had just finished my shift and was super hungry and ate it. This was the worst customer service and the sushi was such bad quality. I’ve seen other reviews saying the chef cannot make a proper looking roll so I know this is a reoccurrence. I really hope other customers are treated better in the future and they add description in their menu. So disappointing.

I like this chain, but this visit was disappointing. They were out of stock for 2 things I usually order, and messed up on 2 other items I ordered without fixing it after I brought it to their attention. They gave me a fresh worker (very sweet), so they should of been more understanding of the mistake. Very disappointing. Wont be returning for awhile. Luckily, there are other options.
