When people see my hardwood floors they ask me “Who did the floors?”The answer is kind of odd at first. “The people who did not blow off at the mouth at how good they are.” I soon found out why Smith Bros. Floors. didn’t, they didn’t have too because they are that good. Then I say Smith Bros. is The Go To Flooring Company in Calgary" and after three places in fifteen years I still love them.When I purchased my first home in Calgary in 2003 I shopped around for a hardwood flooring company to do the job. My realtor suggested Smith Bros. and although I trust my realtor I shopped around anyway. Funny how I went right back to who he said. That is when I came to meet Rod Martin at Smith Bros. Floors Ltd. Smith bros did an amazing job refinishing my floors. The guys who came in were courteous and hard workers who cleaned up after themselves.I was quoted by another contractor double what I was charged for smith bros and I could not be happier with the result. Would recommend them to anyone.

Couldn't be more thrilled with the work Smith Bro's did refinishing our old hardwood floors. From start to finish the whole experience was great.The team ensured I had a schedule of events ahead of time, recommended a moving company to help with taking the furniture out of our house and even communicated every night or two with an update on how everything was going (sometimes with pictures!).Refinishing our 20 year old hardwood was such a great decision when it came to modernizing our home. Dealing with Smith Bros. Floors was an absolute delight. The sales representative Scott was professional and timely. Daniel our installer demonstrated superior installation skills and a positive cordial attitude. Finally, the Service and logistics Manager Andrew was completely on top of things.We had no knowledge of Smith Bros. before our two installation jobs (office and stairs) and picked them because they had been in business for a century. We thought they must do something right to be in business that long. We had a great experience using Smith Brothers. Every person was professional and a joy to work with. They added some hardwood flooring to our home and then sanded and refinished it all. Shaun was very patient with me when I started second guessing the stain colour that I chose and came out a second time to show me my options. We are extremely pleased with the results and would recommend Smith Brothers to anyone in need of floor refinishing or new hardwood.
