One year ago today, Leslie helped us celebrate our wedding! Having recently moved to Nova Scotia and not attending many weddings ourselves, we didn’t know where to begin. But from our initial email, Leslie offered us the perfect mix of guidance and fun to plan our special day. We first met Leslie in person during our engagement session, which was included in our wedding package. This not only gave us beautiful photos that showcased a special part of our relationship but also made us feel confident about our upcoming wedding. From this moment, we knew we had made the right choice!In the time we spent with Leslie, she instantly made us feel like she was a close friend attending our wedding not just our photographer. On the day, Leslie’s outgoing and warm personality made us and our guests feel at ease. Even at 8 months pregnant, she was eager and willing to go on any adventure (including a hike at Polly’s Cove) to capture the shots we had been dreaming about. We absolutely love all the wedding photos that Leslie took. She has a great eye for finding the perfect shots and knows how to capture the emotion of the moment. All of our guests also thoroughly enjoyed Leslie’s presence and have commented to us on how much they love our photos and their interactions with her.Today, we celebrated our first anniversary with another photo session with Leslie at our wedding venue. It brought back so many wonderful memories and made our anniversary even more special. We will always trust Leslie as our photographer for any life event; even if that means making a trip back to Nova Scotia to see her! My wife and I were familiar with Leslie’s work through mutual friends. We loved her photos and shooting style and we decided to get in touch with her to take our wedding photos. Needless to say, it was probably the best decision we made during the planning process and we’re so fortunate that she was available.From the moment we contacted Leslie we knew we had a professional in our corner. They had an answer for every one of our questions (which was easily 1000) and kept us on our timeline almost to the minute. When rain threatened to ruin our outdoor plans, Leslie was prepped and ready with backup locations and new ideas to keep our day beautiful. As the rain held off, she was flexible with our plans and allowed us to get extra shots at unplanned locations. As the reception carried on into the night, Leslie and Jordan took extra time out of their already long day to ensure that we had our first dances captured.We truly cannot say enough good things about Leslie and her work. Her professionalism is unmatched and her technique is flawless. You could hear the click of the camera but you never quite knew where she was. Her presence was never invasive and it allowed my wife and I to share in our moments as if it was just the two of us. We are thrilled with the final product and will cherish these photos forever.If you want the best photographer for whatever special moments you’re trying to capture, you can stop searching because you’re found the right one in Leslie.

Leslie is absolutely incredible.In February, Leslie put on the most incredible Wedding Photography Workshop! I came out of it with so much clarity and direction for my business AND my life in general. It was an intensive one-day session that guided us through literally the WHOLE world of wedding photography in Atlantic Canada, and it was so incredibly valuable! Leslie was open, honest, and vulnerable with us, which is so rare and so important.I came into this workshop with this dreadful feeling of disorganization, and feeling like I had absolutely NO idea where to even start. I left feeling so much more confident and excited, having spent all day learning from Leslie! I have so much more clarity on what I want, and how to get there. I'm so grateful for Leslie for putting on the most incredible workshop (with delicious treats, might I add...)!!!

Leslie is not only a pro at taking breathtaking photos, she’s an amazing person too. This flows over into her work and she is able to make even the shyest of people comfortable. I had the privilege of hiring Leslie for our tiny wedding at Oceanstone resort, and she exceeded all our expectations. From the moment I reached out to her, I felt trusted in her hands. The day of, she was so friendly and enthusiastic, that taking photos was really fun for everyone. My family was raving about her after just meeting her, she was great at getting the little toddlers to pay attention too!Also on the day of we had a bit of a hiccup due to weather and went back and forth on timing of photos/ceremony. Leslie was flexible and really put us at ease!And most importantly the photos are gorgeous!! She sent us a couple photos the next morning and had super quick turnaround for the rest of the album.I'm so grateful to have had Leslie at our special day and can't wait to be hire her back for anniversaries!
