Muku Japanese Ramen
Competitive price starting from 10 bucks without egg.Regular ramen is using baby corn instead of kernel corn.Kind of weird taste for their matcha mochi ice cream.Tiny and cozy place. Very good taste for their ramen broth.Excellent service and definitely worth for a visit!

Muku Japanese Ramen
Muku serves authentic ramen in broth that is tasty and is not too salty. Their signature pork bone broth is on the lighter side. My favorite broth is the Ninja soup. Their noodles are always perfectly al dente. This is an unassuming restaurant run by chefs that are authentic Japanese.I love that I can order half-sized portion. We also recommend their Kaki Fry (small deep fried oysters).

Plenty of options, tasty broth, and great portions make this a top ramen pick in Calgary.———Muku was recommended to us by friends and we came in to try it on a Sunday afternoon around 4:00 pm; decently busy but the two of us were able to be seated right away with no reservation. The pleasant smell of the broth hit us right away as we entered; the kitchen is open to the cozy dining areas which is a nice touch.Drink options are fairly limited but typical for ramen restaurants; the beer selection had Sapporo on draft (I highly recommend it) as well as canned Asahi and bottled Kokkanee. We didn’t order any starters but did have the combo set which added a choice of rice dish and the green salad to the ramen; for this we chose the chashu (bbq pork) rice.My ramen was the tonkotsu chashu wonton ramen with spicy sauce, corn, and ajitsuke tamago (ramen egg). My partner chose the ninja koku-miso because it was seemingly the only one on the menu which came with bamboo shoots. She added an egg to hers as well.Overall we found the broth to be flavourful, if a little thin, but the noodles had a decent amount of chewiness and took up the soup well. The serving size and topping portion was very generous. The chashu was really nice; more on the lean side (as opposed to fatty meat) compared to other establishments we have been to.My partner really enjoyed the green salad which came with a light vinaigrette-sesame style sauce. I loved the chashu rice which reminded me of a nice rice ball in bowl form.Overall we really enjoyed the meal and speed of service. Muku lived up to our expectations and I believe it provides great taste and value to its patrons. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a filling and flavourful meal.

Air conditioning is not good enough...made me feel so hot, and the ramen is not even pass.. noodle not chewy, broth is bland, but lucky, the fried tofu and fired oyster are great. It you come for ramen, not recommended

Muku Japanese Ramen
I came here to have ramen during my stay in Calgary. The shop was really small but the seating was nicely spaced out. The ramen was ok but not authentic like the ones in Japan. I think their price & portion were reasonable. It was good for value. You can order ramen a la carte or ramen combo (which includes a small bowl of rice). The service was good.

Muku Japanese Ramen
Absolutely my favourite ramen restaurant in Calgary! My husband and I eat here just about every week.First of all, it is a very cute, small and cozy spot in Kensington, with a decent amount of parking. The staff here are incredible as well - so friendly and gracious, with great service. The spicy miso ramen as well as the chasu wonton ramen are our two favourites. All of the broth varieties have outstanding flavour, delicious on their own and even better with the spicy sriracha added. I also love that you can substitute the pork for chicken in any of the soups. The noodles are so fresh and delicious, with a nice bite. The amount of toppings and the portion overall is perfect, and I never leave hungry. All of their appetizers are also $4.90 - my favourite is the miso chicken katsu. It's two incredibly crispy and juicy chicken cutlets in their special miso sauce. Perfect for sharing, and not to be missed!Highly recommend this spot for a yummy, great quality bowl of ramen in a comfortable atmosphere.

Muku Japanese Ramen
I love the ramen here. I ordered the combo menu, Spicy Miso + Unagi rice+ salad. I also ordered Miso chicken katsu. All of them were really good and a good price. During this pandemic, they also put separation between tables for the customers which I think it's great. Good service also. Of course I will come back here again.

Muku Japanese Ramen
The food is fine. However, the service is not acceptable. My family totally spent 30 mins for our dinner. My kid was stilling having the water. We didn't ask to check the bill. The waitress just gave us the bill and asked us to pay for it and leave. It's so ridiculous.I won't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant.
