Raffa Landscaping and Design Oswego

We’ve worked with Jared on multiple occasions for various types of jobs and cannot say enough about the quality of his work. He first transformed the landscaping in our front yard and then came promptly to the rescue when we discovered a drainage issue in our backyard. The drainage system he installed has kept our property from flooding, even in the heaviest of rains. Throughout both projects, Jared always presented us with multiple options while being conscientious of our budget. He has the knowledge and equipment to handle any job, in addition to outstanding communication and customer service. We couldn’t be happier with the outcomes!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDWe chose Jared Raffa to rebuild our front steps because he is really very good and experienced at what he does. He had the right equipment and know how to set the angle and length of the steps to perfection. It has changed the experience of coming to our house now with this clean crisp new look and he put a finish on the cement of the steps that prevents slipping in bad weather. It works! He also responds to your request in a timely way putting on his schedule and sticking to it. He really shows up when he says he will. His price is fair and he will explain every bit of it so that you know in advance what you are paying for. We did not pay more that he quoted us for this job.

I have nothing but good things to say about Raffa Landscaping. Apparently getting landscapers to return a call is impossible in most instances, however Jared responded within a few hours. He showed up that very evening to look over the job and work out a budget. He did everything he could to maintain said budget while not sacrificing quality. My wife and I personally decided to blow past the budget, but as we came close to going over it, Jared contacted me and made sure that we were OK with that. Every person that works with him was wonderful, both as people and as workers. Our 3 year old was quite bummed when they weren't showing up at the house anymore! The thing that impressed me the most with Jared is he knows his craft. There are many con artists in the home service sector these days, in all fields, Jared is not one of them. He is honest in what it will take to do things correctly so that we as the customer have the best and longest lasting results possible. Nearly everyday, Jared would walk over the yard with me and show me what it is they had done that day and what the plan was for the following day...or at least the following day there wasn't rain. Spring of 2019 has not been friendly to landscapers, but he was very transparent and patient in explaining everything and answering any question I had about time, material and processes. I believe the best way to summarize our experience with Raffa is to say this: my family and I will be moving in the near future to a place outside of their normal working area. If/when we need landscaping at our new location, we will still hire Jared and his team despite the fact there will be a necessary cost for mileage and it will understandably add up quite a bit. For us to have found someone as dependable, professional and as talented as Raffa Landscaping is incredible and irreplaceable.

It was Wonderful working with Jarred. He was always very professional and knowledgeable about yard design and landscaping. He had a great eye for the needs of areas and placement of shrubs and plants. He knew just where to place the plants, shrubs, and other design features within our yard. Jarred also knew where to move and reuse shrubs that we did not need in the current spots any more; rather than throwing some good shrubs away, he moved them to other parts of our yard, and made everything work very well together! His many recommendations that we tried within our landscaping design worked very well, (stone mulch, huge rocks that he pulled out of our woods).He pays attention to detail, and communicates well through the entire process. He even contacted us several time after the job was done to make sure everything was satisfactory.We would highly recommend Jarred Raffa to anyone who wants a job well done!

Jared was extremely helpful and honest with me about doing a tough lawn mowing job. He finished the job in record time and regularly checked in to see if I needed anything. I ended up hiring him to mow the rest of the summer and he routinely did an excellent job maintaining the lawn. He was also very flexible with timing and was the only landscaping company that I heard back from in a timely manner.

Raffa Landscaping and Designs crew tore down a retaining wall on my property and built a brand new wall and steps. Jared was wonderful to work with- we had three quotes done and he was by far the most knowledgeable and thorough to explain pros and cons of different building options and materials. He provided excellent guidance with regards to structure as well as appearance/design. It was a pleasure working with him and his crew, they showed up early and kept the job site very clean and neat. I am very happy with the final result and many neighbors have also shared exclamatory remarks about the completed project. Communication throughout this process was excellent. Jared and his team did a fabulous job updating and cleaning up my flower beds. They removed all the mulch and redid the beds with stone. The lawn was also leveled out and hydroseeded. The work was done beautifully. I love it and have received high praise from neighbors who walk by. Thank you for a difficult job well done.
