I have visited the clinic today for my 3 years old doughter the front desk and the nurse was very friendly but Dr. Anita was very unprofessional and misbehaviour, she didn't knew how to behave with a 3 years old kid, my kid didn't liked her at all although it was just a consultation so if she do the treatment for sure your child will never go to the dentist again. And one more thing, what ever I asked Dr. Anita she was like I don't know it depends on your child. So she don't know anything don't wast your time and money by booking appointments with her.

Finally after 12 dentists in 3 provinces we had a positive experience. My kid said after that this is the first time his teeth feel better after leaving. I have tears in my eyes. Grieving what could have been if we found this place when kid was little.

My 3 year old had an emergency situation and our regular dentist didn’t have a closer time that we wanted. The dentist at this office don’t have any patience to deal with kids, didn’t even try to. She just said your kid is going to cry anyway and straight up tortured him. Didn’t even take her time to introduce herself and be nice. So I don’t recommend.

We've been with Tot 2 Teen for about six years now. I chose this practice because of its proximity to our home and the claim that they're experienced in providing care to autistic kids.Aside from one particular hygienist, who doesn't appear to be with the practice anymore, the hygienists have always been kind and are good with listening to kids and being patient with curious kids who are nervous. The front desk staff are also kind, patient, and professional.I've always had reservations, however, about Dr. Anita Gartner. She has a brisk, authoritative approach, and over the years I've noticed she doesn't really attempt to connect on a personal level with my child. At a recent visit, when my child felt unsafe on the chair and was experiencing back pain and expressed this, she was instantly dismissive and invalidated my child's needs by saying her back hurt and the chair would stay flat because that's what she needed. The authoritative tone was alarming and not what I would have expected from someone experienced in working with autistic kids.I understand well what it's like to experience back pain and am sympathetic to Dr. Gartner's pain and the fact that she may have been having an off day. That said, at this particular visit her railroading approach was startling and concerning in how she positioned her personal needs above those of a vulnerable child who otherwise has difficulty self-advocating. Having an off day doesn't excuse the fact that her response to my child communicated that their needs don't matter since she's the boss and things will be done her way. There didn't seem to be any room for flexibility or a willingness to communicate to find a compromise.Additionally, my child and I had previously discussed before the last visit that they wouldn't be able to do the cleaning. When I stepped in to let the hygienist - Andrea - know my child wasn't able to do the cleaning that day, she responded with a smirk and rebuked me, as if to communicate that she didn't appreciate me speaking up. Dr. Gartner later made an unnecessary remark about how they'd always been able to do a cleaning in the past, which is untrue and it implied her belief that my child's needs were, again, not relevant to her expectations. An additional concerning experience we'd had back in late December 2019 involved a large abcess developing above an abnormal tooth that was loose. The abcess was painful, purple, and at least the size of a large pea. After contacting Dr. Gartner and sending photos of the abcess, she responded by saying it was merely a pimple" and to not be concerned about it. She seemed inconvenienced at me contacting her while she was on vacation. I later found out that such abcesses could be dangerous and often required the use of antibiotics due to their bacterial nature. In learning this

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the inflexibility of your cancellation policy. I strongly believe that your cancellation policy needs to be revised to better accommodate the needs of your customers. A fair and reasonable policy would go a long way in fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction.

The first appointment was actually not bad at all. They have been able to do a proper x-ray (which is usually a challenge for a kid), and make a proper diagnosis. But they have questionable practice. We had an appointment with them but told us the day before kids can't come if they have stuffy nose. Which we told them the day before. We were planning on going. Then because of the runny nose, they said our kid can't go anymore, which we can understand. We can reschedule. But they told us they will charge us a $120 cancellation fee... Though we didn't want to cancel but more like they cancel. The receptionist was really awful about it. I guess that's what they do. All about the money, not really there for the kids.Recommend to avoid!

They will charge you $120 to cancel if your child is sick. My daughter was sick so we left a voicemail the day before her appointment to reschedule. We also called first thing in the morning the next day. They told us it is considered a last minute cancellation and they charged us $120 for my daughter being sick. Never booking with them again.

The lady on the phone this morning was absolutely rude after I said I’ll look for another dental place for my daughter and she’s like “ no other dentist will take you guys because you are native” that crossed a line. I hope she gets in trouble. That’s supposed to be a friendly kids dental that has an every child matters “native orange flag” by their window. Some lady that is. I wish I got her name

The dental staff are great, but the front desk associate is rude, impatient, and condescending. Not only once, but each appointment. I watched her speak and treat another client differently than she spoke to me and treated me. So it isn’t her usual manner. I take my daughter to this location because the dental staff are exceptional with my daughter. If she has the same attitude towards me every time, that’s a problem. Be mindful that she treats clients differently and not everyone will be treated equally.

Pretty good place. 9.5 of staff were good. I didn’t like the way Doctor Anita treated us. I was talking and she told me to stop talking so I could breathe more. But it still made us cry. We talked to the front desk after the appointment and they passed our message on. Dr Anita called us to say sorry later. But in total a really good dentist office with good staff.
