Cute location with nice outside and indoor seating. Staff were friendly and helpful. I tried the mocha, which was delicious. They even had a highchair available for my baby to use.

Another amazing Balzacs location, this time in historic Kleinberg Village. Balzacs makes the best coffee in Ontario. Fairly priced coffee for the value they bring.The location is right in the heart of the village, and offers a very nice front and back patio, and a gorgeous indoor seating space (which was unfortunately closed at this time due to COVID).Service was great, and they offer a wide variety of coffee and espresso based beverages, along with baked goods. You can also purchase their beans (ground and whole) to bring home as wellI had the Americano and it was very good.Limited parking behind the store, however there is also ample street parking where you can stay for 3 hours and explore the village afterwards.

Very close to Bindertwine Park and a perfect place to go after a walk. I have been to their other locations and am always happy to be back. This cafe serves the best coffee and service to the customers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s a really warm and welcoming environment with a really nice patio around it.I have tried most of the things from their menu and this time I decided to get tea. We got masala chai and it was very light and yet flavourful. My favourites are salted caramel latte and hot chocolate.

Overall best and cozy spot for break and have fresh coffee with great smile and service. Quite place at Islington Ave away from the busy life of Toronto.Lot of coffee serves at this spot. Enjoy sometime to have a good coffee.

Balzac’s did a great job restoring the building of this former iconic Starbucks location. There’s plenty of seating options now including the entire wrap-around patio, newly renovated inside and an indoor upstairs room to sit and work as well.While there were several early kinks to work out in their process (long lineups with slow service and new staff, not being able to collect points or use app) they did already slightly improve the hours since opening.Try the Citro Booster. They offer Milkadamia which is a great non-dairy option with matcha lattes.For those looking to meet or do work here, be mindful of peak times when it’s packed and limited WiFi reach. Otherwise overall a great space!

Love this spot! Their drinks are authentic and refreshing! My favorite drinks are the parsian mist (London fog) & the hot chocolate. It's a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that invites the neighborhood to enjoy delicious treats & drinks! If you're scrolling through the neighborhood, I would highly recommend to check this spot out!

Absolutely love this cafe. The cafe is beautiful with a more homey vibe and plenty of seating, that feels private and comfortable. I highly reccomend the caffe frappe. There seasonal drinks are also really good. There pastries also taste amazing.

Great quick stop for some coffee and cookies. There is parking out back and on the street. The espresso's are good and come in a real espresso paper cup. There is an affordable kids hot chocolate and cookie deal $5.50, that even my teenagers love.

Great addition to the village! It was sad to see Starbucks go but Balzac’s is the perfect replacement. The medium roast and matcha latte were really good! Friendly staff, clean and safe environment, the patio is super relaxing. Check them out!
