AFTERNOON TEA
3.5 stars. We had a reservation on OpenTable for 12:45pm and had requested a table by the window as you're really paying for the view. Upon arrival we were told our table was occupied and were offered an alternate table at the very back of the restaurant on a raised level so you couldn't even see the windows. We agreed to wait and were asked to check in again in 20 minutes. We weren't seated until 1:55pm (1 hour and 10 mins after our reservation) which is absolutely ridiculous as there should be some implemented time limit for tables by the window.As far as the actual tea experience, the food was wonderful! The finger sandwiches were small but very good quality. We loved the lobster with caviar and the prawn with caviar. They also had a cute tea timer to prevent you from oversteeping your tea and came around to refill hot water at the perfect time. The dessert was buffet style and had a great selection of sweets which you could return to as many times as you like. And of course, the view of the lake was beautiful and somewhat made up for our incredibly long wait.

AFTERNOON TEA
Of all the Fairmont Afternoon Teas I've experienced, this was by far the most enjoyable. Everything from the service, to the food, to the setting was above and beyond.We were lucky enough to visit during a shoulder season; right inbetween the winter rush and the summer tourist season. That meant the hotel and all restaurants weren't too crowded, which was perfectly fine with us. This did mean that our reservation was moved from the Restaurant & Bar to the Lakeview Lounge, but I feel this only heightened our experience. The Lounge had a steady stream of patrons, but the noise level never rose above normal conversation level. I was so glad we were sat next to one of the huge windows for a stunning view of the frozen lake and snowy mountains!The tea selection was quite wide, as with other Fairmont Hotels, so it was hard to make a choice. Our server Brooke made some great recommendations that would compliment our tea time fare. The food itself was interesting and freshly made. There were some new flavor combinations I'd never had before; I love that the menu changes with the seasons. We both loved the scones, still warm from the oven!More than anything, we simply loved interacting with the incredible staff who cared deeply about our experience. Brooke was so sweet, so kind, and pleasantly attentive. The host at podium greeted us by name and asked about our previous experience; I felt appreciated and well cared for. I could not have asked for a better Afternoon Tea experience and am grateful for all the staff at the Chateau who made this possible.

AFTERNOON TEA
Never been for high tea before. It's offered at the Fairview daily (12:00pm to 2:30pm) inside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.Afternoon high tea is $75.00/person. They're very accommodating with dietary restrictions.- Tea - feature was masala chai. Also tried creamy earl grey, Liza Hill darjeeling, goddess oolong and Ontario icewine. Enjoyable.- Warm scones and condiments - Saskatoon berry and lemon white chocolate scones. The lemon curd was my favourite.- Finger sandwiches - broccoli mousse was enjoyable (a surprising kick), oven dried tomato with ratatouille puree, togarashi seared tuna, roasted wagyu beef and lobster saffron mayo with lotus root. Lobster was everyone's favourite bite.- Sweets - pistachio cherry choux, chocolate cake, spice latte delice, macaron (salted caramel) and chestnut praline basket. Desserts were passable.- Cheeseburger & french fries ($18.00) - my BIL was still hungry. They were nice enough to let him order off the kids menu.Nothing blew me out of the water. High tea here is for the experience and views.

AFTERNOON TEA
The views of Lake Louise are unbeatable. We went in expecting to wait a long time but we actually got seated right away. A large selection of food and reasonable prices surprisingly, food was delicious and flavourful. A must see due to the view, again unbeatable when you’re having some afternoon tea. Even if you can’t stay at the Fairmont due to the price, get the afternoon tea. A one in a lifetime experience.

Ok food, great service and gorgeous view. Limited selection of items but they were well cooked, plated and presented. I had the chicken burger and my friend had an Angus which was slightly on the dry side and could have been juicier. The mushroom pasta and desserts were amazing especially the caramel sundae.

Afternoon tea at the Fairmont Lake Louise was great! The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. The staff didnt mind taking photos of us. The view from the seating was spectacular as we were right in front of the window. There is a selection of teas to select from.We got prosecco/mimosas on the house because it was our honeymoon. I would go back!

The food itself was nothing crazy spectacular, but it’s a fun experience if you have someone visiting and you want the views of Lake Louise from a window seat. You can definitely get better high tea for much cheaper elsewhere!

YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE IF YOU COME TO FAIRMONT CHATEAU!One of the best places for a meal in Banff National Park and all-round it is a 10/10.The food was flavourful and well-cooked. The lunch menu may seem slightly limited but that is a good sign in my opinion, since they want to focus on their best items. We devoured all the food we ordered and we are going back for dinner as well.The drinks were very good. Our server suggested the local beer and the caramel old fashioned. They were both amazing.Nothing beats the view from the restaurant of lake Louise and the mountains. It is a perfect spot for a date, for a family visit or with friends.Finally, our server, Nicholas K was absolutely the best. He asked us for the flavours we enjoyed in our food and drinks and his suggestions were spot on. He even joined us in the banter of teasing one of our friends and that was excellent because he had the emotional intelligence to understand our relationship with each other.You definitely must visit this restaurant if you are visiting/staying in this hotel. If I were you, I would ask for a table served by Nicholas K since he made our experience even better.

AFTERNOON TEA
We came to the Chateau for high tea as a birthday treat for myself in September and we had such a wonderful time!We did the high tea with a glass each of Prosecco - CAD 66 and it was sooo worth it!I was tossing up between the Banff Springs high tea or Lake Louise and I’m so glad I chose Lake Louise. We were fortunate enough to be sat by the window so we had the most wonderful view and I’m so glad that we did - that is why I would go for the Lake Louise option just to be able to take it all in and see the beautiful lake in all its glory.The Prosecco was a lovely touch and the tea was beautiful, our host came and filled up our teapot probably 6 times! I thought I’d have to buy a new pot over and over but no.The food itself was beautiful and the tray was stacked high with delicious treats. They also put a little birthday treat at the top which was so lovely and a real highlight.There’s also a dessert buffet table so when you are finished your high tea tiers you are welcome to hit up with dessert buffet as much as you like (shown in my photos).So generous!We stayed for three hours and just soaked up all we could of the view, the beautiful food, lovely service and the beautiful room itself.My only qualm would be that the bread on the open sandwiches felt a little dry, like it had been sitting out in the open for most of the day. It might have been a bad day for bread that day so don’t let it effect your decision!Such a special treat and a well worth it! Can’t wait to come back again someday with family and share in the special experience again!

AFTERNOON TEA
Wonderful service and excellent dining experience. From the table setting to the room setting this afternoon tea is worth it. We made a reservation easily online and enjoyed it immensely. Our server was professional and friendly. The food was surprisingly filling. Each item was unique and delicious. The chef arrive to each table to explain each item. The choice of tea is top notch and I love how the tea menu presents a sample of the tea with the description. And of course the view is iconic.
