Swiss Watch Workshop
I was given a TAG Heuer watch for my 30th birthday over 25 years ago. I had it serviced fairly regularly until around 10 years ago when the screw in crown failed and I was quoted a ridiculous amount for the repair by another Exeter based watch shop. Having recently used the Swiss Watch Workshop to service a friends Omega Seamaster I was very impressed by Ernest’s customer service, pricing and encyclopaedic knowledge of watches. Therefore asked him to quote me for servicing and repairing my TAG. The cost was very reasonable and the watch was returned to me in immaculate condition within 10 days along with a bag of cogs, springs and seals that had been replaced. The 25 year old watch is now back on my wrist where it belongs! Ernest is a incredible guy and I would throughly recommend him to anyone.

Ernest did a great job repairing my Omega De-ville when my local jewellers wouldn't take it on. The watch came back looking great and I will certainly use him again for my other watches when they need work.

Swiss Watch Workshop
Entrusted my Omega Seamaster with Ernest at the Swiss Watch Workshop in Exeter. I explained that my watch had never kept good time since purchase from new so had a few concerns. I shouldn’t have worried at all Ernest was true to his word work completed on time and within estimate. My watch looks fantastic and now accurate how it should have been from new! I highly recommend the Swiss Watch Workshop.

What an excellent experience! I had two watches serviced by Ernest, and he did a fantastic job, even doing a few 'extras' like repainting the lume bead on the bezel of one of the watches. You can tell that he absolutely LOVES everything to do with watches, and he also provided me with some sound advice on what he thought was (and wasn't) worth purchasing next. I would not hesitate to recommend The Swiss Watch Workshop!

I had done plenty of research prior to taking my wife's Rolex to Ernest at Swiss Watch Workshop.The first thing that you are aware of is how much genuine interest and knowledge Ernest has.Everything is explained and there is no sense of being rushed or any pressure to commit.Apart from his obvious knowledge of all things watches he has a great personality and even showed me around the workshop when I visited.He repaired my wife's Rolex Datejust stating a wait of between 4-5 weeks.It was completed at 4 weeks and is back to perfect working order.Not only are the necessary repairs carried out it is cleaned and polished to a very high standard.We were so impressed I took my Rolex Milgauss for a long overdue service and it is back on my wrist today looking as good as new.I cannot recommend the service here enough....keep away from the High street Jewellers.

Excellent service.My Rolex was catastrophically damaged and Ernest repaired it and transformed it to as new condition. I have no hesitation in recommending him. As an added bonus the cost was half that I anticipated. Thank you.

Ernest has worked magic on my Breitling, a truly 1st class job, even better than I expected! My 13 year old watch looks like new and is keeping really accurate time now too. The watch was quite badly worn in places - I have no idea how he has managed to get it looking so good! I can highly recommend Ernest at Swiss Watch Workshop - plus he has excellent communications and kept me up to date on progress regularly. Top class!!!!!UPDATE - I have just conducted a three day test of my watch's accuracy. It was losing 27 seconds A DAY before I sent it off to Ernest. In three days it has lost less than 0.25 of second! AMAZING!! He also sent me back the old parts (seals, mainspring and two winder cogs that were worn out) and a nice new Breitling protective box to store/post it in! Thank you Ernest!!!
