Nottawasaga Resort Valley Golf Course

I loved golfing at Nottawasaga and the Ridge BUT with the ownership eliminating enjoyable holes at both courses so he can build more houses, he has removed that enjoyment. I heard other golfers expressing the same sentiment. There is no longer any logical flow to the course as you are redirected for long drives to the next hold. It will not be possible to walk this course any longer, you must cart. This is so disappointing, we won't be back!!

I've golfed here quite a few times (at least once a year the last 5 years) and the upkeep is always on par. Staff are friendly and overall it's a nice place to golf.

Great clean facility... Amazing food and plenty to do there

Amazing resort from top to bottom. The rooms were very nice and the staff were all excellent. The mini golf course and the pool were particularly fun, featuring this awesome looking hippo!

A fantastic place with beautiful courses. The food was OK, could have been better. First dinner had, without a doubt been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long as the gravy was very baked on. BUT, I would go back in a heartbeat!

We’ve been to this resort many times for different events like hockey tournaments, dance competitions and golf. The place is extremely dated and although it has many different restaurant options none of them have reasonable hours of operation. Golf course is in pretty rough shape for this year and is not what you would expect from a resort course and nowhere near the quality for the price they charge. The only positive for staying here is the location to the hockey or dance venues but will never stay here again. I would rather stay in Barrie or Vaughan and drive in for the day.

Very nice course first time golfing was very well maintained and scenery was amazing and some challenging holes,18 hole was a bit tough with construction of homes around it.

Have golfed the Ridge and the Nottawasaga Course for years now and it was a 5 star staple in my golf rotation. Now they have removed all of the enjoyable holes from the Ridge and mixed it into some of the Nottawasaga holes. The course layout makes absolutely no sense and there a long drives/walks in between most holes now.On top of it all, a few weeks back I golfed the course on a very hot Saturday afternoon and there were no refreshment stands open and the beverage cart only passed us once on the 3rd hole. In hot weather that is inexcusable, luckily we all packed our own water bottles or dehydration would've taken into effect.This really saddens me to give this review because this course used to be excellent. Hopefully they re-consider what they have done, but for now I will take my money somewhere else.
