Frydays Authentic Fish & Chips
I was extremely disappointed. I called earlier in the day to confirm I could order over the phone and have it picked up. I called at 2:55 to give my order for pick up at 3:15. When my wife got there at 3:15 it hadn't even been started and wasn't ready until 3:30. I was also disappointed because I ordered the Seafood Platter but was told the blooming onion(which was on the menu for that store) hadn't been available there for months. When my wife got home the food was just as disappointing. In the Cod and Chips you had to search for the fish, but I must say the breading was delicious. In my Seafood Platter the Calamari tasted like spiced breading and the rest of it was all very heavy on the breading and you had to search for the fish and seafood. All in all this is definitely a restaurant I will no longer support.

Frydays Authentic Fish & Chips
We had the haddock dinner and fish tacos, the batter was light and crispy and the fries were crispy as well. The staff were kind and overall an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend for a light lunch!

Food is freshly prepared. The batter on the fish is very light and delicious. This is my favorite fish and chips in this area. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. I feel like the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and quality of food that you get. I had the one piece haddock with chips and it was delicious. Try eating in for the best experience. I also had the clam chowder soup which had the tastiest broth!

Finally!!! A great place again for fish and chips in Windsor. The community has definitely waited patiently for this restaurant to open. Its in a great location in the plaza off of Walker rd with plenty of parking and fully accessible. So far we have ordered the 6 piece Jr pack which included: large serving of fries (for 4), 6 pieces of cod fish, vinegar based coleslaw with rolls and fountain drinks. Also we absolutely couldn't resist the halibut fish tacos and reccomend you don't either, they are done perfectly with their sauces and slaw. Fish batter is nice and crispy and light, fish is cooked perfectly! They just opened and will expand their menu as they go. We look forward to our next visit and will continue to post updates of food options available at Frydays Authentic Fish & Chips.

Clean restaurant! I find their fish is just okay!The fish batter is lacking taste and always greasy. The fries are greasy and limp. The tartar sauce lacks flavour. I find better quality for the price at Pat and Hank's and Sir Cedric's.Consider Pacific Belle Seafood as well.

Would not recommend. Fries were fine. The fish was greasy, the coleslaw tastes like pepper and vinegar and the buns were terrible. The gravy container was filled maybe halfway with a watery, lumpy, flavorless mess.

Frydays Authentic Fish & Chips
Stopped in today with my wife. Pleasantly surprised with the meal and restaurant. Very clean and friendly staff. Halibut and chips had a batter similar to tempura. Very flaky but not overpowering. The haddock was the same. The young gentleman that served us was friendly and welcoming . At end of meal wife asked for a refill of soda. As he was leaving for the day no question he got it for us and then left. I will definitely return .

Had lunch there for the first time today. Restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is cafeteria style where you have to go to an order window and place your order and pay and then someone will bring the food out to you when it’s ready.My dining companion and I both had the 2 piece cod dinner as shown in my photo. The fish had a ton of breading and there really wasn’t that much actual fish hidden under all that breading. Overall it was reasonably tasty and we both gave it a 7 out of 10 rating. It was OK but certainly not up to the taste and quality of Pat & Hanks.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews.I had a great experience here. We ordered takeout and got fish tacos and an extra piece of cod.The place inside is very clean and nicely decorated.The food was excellent. The fries and fish were very fresh and the batter is light and airy.I used to work at Sir Cedrics as a teenager for several years all through my university days. I’ve had probably hundreds of fried fish meals during my time there. Frydays offers better prices and a more creative take on the traditional fish & chips. The fish is all freshly prepared right in front of you.I will definitely be returning.I also love that all of their packaging and utensils are completely biodegradable and compostable. Even the clear plastic drinking cups are made from compostable PLA plastic.

The staff was friendly, the sandwich was great as were the fries. I will be back to try out the halibut for sure.
