This restaurant used to be one of my favourite places until today.Today, on a Wednesday, at 6Pm we went there with my 2.5 year old and they told us we need a reservation. This was despite the restaurant looked empty. The reception told us “It’s because they are getting so many reservations now”.Then we made a reservation and went back. Another person turned us around again. This time he said it was because they are short-handed because someone called in sick!Had they been honest the first time, we would not have gone through the trouble just to be turned around again. Also, it was a very negative experience: seeing an obviously hungry 2 year old and turning her around where there is no other options was very inconsiderate.Needless to say we were very disappointed.

Was excited to go for lunch here as it's a beautiful restaurant right in the park, with lovely views. Our server was friendly and welcoming, but the food was subpar. We shared a bowl of borscht and the fish and chips. The soup was barely hot, and the bread it was served with- a slice of white sandwich bread with garlic butter- was served right in the bowl, soaking up all the broth and turning into a soggy mess. It should have been served on the side, especially since so many people have issues with wheat gluten these days. As for the fish, it was obvious that it had been cooked earlier and re-fried, as it was so hard the batter snapped off and went flying to the floor when I tried to cut it, and the fish itself was tough and chewy in parts. Disappointing as the prices are on the higher side, I definitely expected better quality. Another point is the salad- there are several on the menu but none of them include protein, and adding a bit of chicken or salmon is expensive. A lunch salad with protein would be $26.00- $30.00, this is just too high for a little cafe-style restaurant. Seasons was not busy at all, in fact we were the only table most of the time we were there, and after sampling the food I can see why. It's too bad because this spot has really great potential, but the menu and kitchen need improvement.

A not so hidden gem in the Bowness park. It is one of the most beautiful restaurant by the lake in Calgary. We visited there during July long weekend and sat on the patio. The view from the patio is second to none. They serve brunch menu on Sunday, it has a fair bit of breakfast and lunch menu items there. We ordered baked omelettes, seafood pot, fish and chips and avocado toast. Every item was delicious and prepared with care. Portions were not huge but enough for 1 person. We had some cocktails and beers as well, everything was well worth it. I would definitely visit Seasons of Bowness Park again."

We had a great experience at Season’s. Gracie our server was fantastic. A stop by Alex for a chat was great. The location was super. We will return and we will make sure make reservations prior so we can sit upfront with the best view.

After being late for my booking- my poor friend waited during a freak storm today in Calgary- I had the most amazing dinner with my friend. The flash floods/hail storm made what should have been a seven minute drive from my home into a crazy 1.5hr journey to the restaurant. The restaurant was clean- fresh - the food amazing! We ordered an appetizer- main courses - dessert & drinks. I would definitely go back again & recommend as their new chef is amazing! Very happy with the food & the service provided!

Came here to try their YYC hot chocolate fest drink. It was good, and despite being busy the service was very quick. Perfect place to grab a drink while you walk around bowness park!

My family sat down for lunch. Do not order the Mojotos they were tasteless with wilted mint, had to be replaced by another drink. No salmon was available, had to settle for tuna salad.Food was ok. View was spectacular.
