We were moving a newly purchased car from Ontario to Newfoundland when unexpectedly the check engine light came on. Our friend in Halifax knew the owner, Bruce, and they took us in short-notice as we were under a timeline to make the ferry crossing a few days later. I spoke with both Rob and Tim, they were so helpful in explaining what needed fixing and they took care of everything for us. They really got us out of a bind while simultaneously doing a thorough job on the car. Some garages could have taken advantage of our plight but these folks were fast, efficient and the bill was extremely reasonable. Again, they saved our skins here and we are so grateful. I highly recommend this garage.

From the time you open the door you realize that you are in a clean and well organized repair shop. The front desk pays immediate attention and courteously asks how they can be of service. Have been several times for repairs or maintenance. Have complete confidence in their ability to deliver on promise. This is next level service.

I needed to get a quick inspection of a used vehicle with the option to buy it and they accommodated me within the next morning. Their thorough inspection provided me with an insight as to the true value of the vehicle after repairs and potential $$ repair problems to come for my cash strapped daughter. Soffice to way we didm't go forward with the pourchase. Also they were very helpful in guiding me to pourchasse other vehicle that are less problematic

Bench automotive is a great place to have your vehicle serviced .The staff are frendly and helpfull,and make you feel welcomed and comfortable, they have a launge area with coffee,and muffins for the persons who prefer to waite while there vehicle is serviced.They keep you updated ,as to how the service on yur vehicle is progressing .They have specilests for many types of european cars ,i have always been satisfied with there attention to detail, as they service my Mercedies E-320 TDI , making sugestions about things that may need service or attention.Small details like flud levels, are always toped up ,and sugestions regarding tire or wheel alignment ,air and cabin filter replacement are always appreciated . A great place to take your vehicle for excellent service.

This is extremely well run business. Both the owner and staff are genuinely courteous, and above all do great job on all service matters. They are not looking for more work, by suggesting unnecessary work. On the contrary if the manufacturer’s code asks for work that is not supported by their inspection, they just skip it. I can fully recommend this garage, and I have done so to my friends.

The gatekeeper to any successful business is the front staff. Jason was phenomenal from the time he picked up the phone, set up my appointment and delivered my vehicle. The mechanics are also the best. They suggested a few improvements at a minimal cost to make sure my car worked better. Bench is the place to go and I’ll be sure to refer others to your business based on my experience. Back to Jason, best hiring decision ever.
