The showers in the change rooms are terrible, sometimes they are cold, sometime scalding hot

Really awesome place Im very fond of this rec centre. Nice to be able to hit a workout and enjoy the sauna for a reasonable price.

In the last ten years, the weekday times given to senior skate has been drastically reduced. We used to get 2 hours some weekday mornings. That was cut to one hour. Over protest times were changed to afternoons. Now times are further reduced. Staff don’t answer direct questions as to why, and it seems there is ice time available.There are a lot of us who grew up skating and we want to continue.

Our granddaughters day off from school and so we took her skating. First time on skates and we had so much fun. She loved it. Says she wants to go again.❤

Swimming was good. Its nice to have a heated pool. That being said at one point it was over capacity and I couldnt go back for 5-10min.

My baby has swimming lessons there every week and we love it! They run like clockwork and the change rooms are always clean. Would be nice if they were a bit bigger though.

Booked my daughter's birthday there for swimming and using the room upstairs. When we went on the pool deck 5 mins after our time we paid for we were told we needed to wait a bit longer. Assuming life guards weren't ready. Then upstairs in our last bit of time we had people who were not part of the party came up and couldn't take the hint to leave. When I emailed the lady I booked this all through I got zero response. It's pretty sad when I didn't even get an apology from the Recreation centre, as my daughter really enjoyed her party and would love to book again down the road but with the lack of customer service I received when I had a couple complaints makes me not want to. Which is sad when there's already very minimal things to do in town for parties in the winter.

There to attend my son's hockey game. Pad 1 had the heaters going in the stands, and the atmosphere was great.
