Suzuki and Traditional Violin Lessons in Montreal

It has been such a wonderful experience having Daphne as a violin teacher. Years ago I had taken violin lessons and found myself not enjoying the experience because of the teacher. I was so happy that this time around I was able to find someone I could enjoy the experience but most of all unbelievably patient and passionate about teaching. The experience has been wonderful and I have come a long way since we first started. I feel that with each lesson I improve and grow a deeper passion for the violin. I would not hesitate to recommend Daphne to anyone looking for a violin teacher!

I’m an adult student and have been working with Daphne for 3 years now. We have been working through the Suzuki method supplemented with additional study and exercise books. Daphne is a very talented musician but more importantly a wonderful teacher. She is helping me discover the beauty of playing the violin - a difficult instrument, indeed. Daphne is a very patient, kind and encouraging violin teacher! As an adult beginner it is intimidating to start something new, but Daphne is a great teacher and has brought fun and inspiration along the way.

My daughter has been learning the violin with Daphne for almost two years, and she really enjoys the time she spends with her. Daphne is an excellent teacher and is very patient with the children. I also like the annual Christmas concert that she organizes every year, which gives the children the opportunity to perform on stage, it is a great motivation for them.

She has excellent communication skills, is patient, understanding, and provides great encouragement/constructive criticism.
