Indigo - Conestoga

I like bookstores and Indigo is a great book store. Even though I didn't buy this visit I found a few books to add to my reading list. I can always find something of interest in Indigo. This one in Conestoga Mall is well laid out and quite modern in design. As always it is quiet and easy to find anything. The Indigo kids bookstore is attached. Highly Recommended.

This is my local indigo that I have been going to for years! I normally have no complaints the staff is all lovely and helpful! Although today I went with my partner (we’ve gone before together never had an issue) we where browsing when we found a blanket! I decided I’d hold on to it while I decide if I’d like to buy it~. While deciding my partner goes to the bathroom leaving me by myself. I wonder around to the notebooks when a staff stright brown dark hair bout 5”5 black rimmed glasses petite comes over and asked me to take my blanket behind the counter. I politely declined saying I haven’t decided if I’d like to get it or not. She then insisted to taking it and I declined again she walks away from me in a huff. I thought it odd but considering it’s never been a thing before I was upset about it. I pay for the blanket and waddle out my partner staying behind to take one last look at a book they wanted to see if they had it in stock. The SAME lady (who had been following them around) seemed weirded out by them asking about their book — being short with answers and such. I will still be coming to this location it being the only one close to my home but this experience was awful. Please don’t assume things about your younger customers, especially us that are queer. I can’t help but feel targeted

This is possibly the nicest Indigo/Chapters I have ever been to. Very large childrens section, very large vinyl section, home, etc. Very clean and laid out differently to any of their other stores ( at least the ones Ive been in).

Love that this location has mall access. It's huge and has just about anything you could imagine in relation to books, games, toys, home accessories, etc. The only areas for improvement would be that the aisle ways were pretty narrow therefore crowded, and the check out area was only 4 or 5 whicketts, of which only 3 were open at a very busy time of day. The check out lane area was also incredibly short, causing those standing in line to be woven amongst shoppers and in the way.

The staff member was incredibly helpful at helping my daughter pick out a book series geared for her age at the appropriate level.

Visited Chapters Indigo at its new location in Conestoga Mall. I was afraid they were down-sizing, but not at all - this new store has 2X the floor-space, according to the associate I talked with.The extra room means they've been able to create separate spaces/rooms for the kids (nicer, brighter space) and merchandise.My first impression is that the new location is better. If it brings in more selection, that will be better still.

Lots of cool books. They let you hang out. Comfy seats and big tables. Toy/board game section. Kids section. Attached to a starbucks. The staff leave you alone if youre reading. Pretty chill place. Bit cold though.

Very nicely laid out and clean store, good selection. Kids section has a nice variety of books and toys. Highly recommended!

Super organized, good lighting, well stocked, spacious, not too busy, colorful, lots of books and other items. Good ambiance at this location. Tons of books to look through and they have them organized by typical sections. There is also a wellness section that includes some water bottles and yoga mats, as well as a candle section, a housewares section, and some others.
