I used to cut my hair with Shaq and it was excellent to say the least. I was disappointed to hear that he retired from the business to pursue a new career path. After this news I honestly thought I had lost a trusted hairdresser but then I heard that a young guy called Mike was the new hairdresser. Mike turned out to be AMAZING, friendly, corteous and most importantly listens to your request plus he has excellent cutting skills. Please keep this guy!

I was looking and searching the whole internet for a barber who would cut my man’s hair perfectly, I was searching so hard, day and night, I dedicated a majority of our relationship to finding the right barber for him. We had multiple arguments, there were some nights I thought this was it. “you’re tearing this family apart!” He cried. I finally stumbled across Michael, and I knew what we had to do. Off we went, we endured blistering winds and scorching deserts - we climbed the highest bloody room of the tallest bloody tower (15 minutes across town) - and what do we find? A man with a golden pair of hair sheers, ready to take on whatever challenge walked into his shop. We ran in, and I saw the man himself. I told him I was in an utter panic. You see - my Goldfishes Dads Brothers Uncle was getting married in less than 2 hours, I told him my boyfriend needed a fade fresher than St-Alberts cheese curds. He looked at me, looked at his golden pair of scissors, and said “challenge accepted.” He quickly whipped out his barber cape, his hands moved faster than a professional pianist playing flight of the bumblebee, he was going 20,000 snips a second. I stood in shock as he did what he promised - a fade that was so perfectly blended I couldn’t tell the difference between my boyfriends hair cut and a perfectly blended smoothie from booster juice. He turned my boyfriend towards the mirror, and as a single tear shed from the corner of his right eye he whispered “it’s… it’s perfect.” I asked him, “how can I ever repay you good sir?” He replied, “just promise me one thing.” “What’s that?” I stuttered. He cleaned off his magical sheers. “Leave a positive google review.” “Of course” I said. “Oh, and there’s one more thing.” He added. “Never let anyone treat you like a yellow starburst, you are a pink starburst.” We thanked him, and before we left we told him one last thing. “In this story, you are the pink starburst, good sir.” He looked at me and smiled. “Take care my friend” he replied. The wedding was a success, and everyone asked where he got his fade done. A gust of wind came by as the sunset shined through my boyfriends freshly cut hair, “an old friend” we replied. “But how can I have hair that looks so good, that flows so perfectly, that fades so evenly?” We looked at each other, nodded, and looked back at the crowd. “We‘ll show you the way.” And off we went, that day we left the barber shop with not only the best hair cut possible, but also a friend, a family member, and more importantly - a hero. Not all hero’s wear super mans cape, some wear a barber capes.

Mike is a really friendly barber and great on his job. I was looking for a barber for a long time and I am happy to find him. Highly recommended.

Hubby is looking Hot!!! Maybe I should not drop him here again for a snazzy new cut by Alberto . Have your hubby get himself a babe magnet style here at your own peril.Warning: No washroom on the premises so come prepared or risk roaming the streets trying to get a kind shop owner to let you use their facilities. Tim Hortons has a broken toilet according to their staff but Gabriel’s was very welcoming.

I got a few haircuts from here, great people. But the last time I had gone i actually developed really bad acne all over my forehead. I believe this was the result of unclean tools. So as long as those sanitary practices stay a priority, they're a great option

My sons went in there for a hair cut and came out very happy as Jonathan did an amazing job... thank you so muchTotally recommend this establishment

Mike needs to learn a very important skill other than cutting hair which is customer service/interpersonal skills.

Michael is really good! He is quick and did a fantastic job on the cut. He's also pleasant to talk to.

Had my kids go there to get a quick hair cut, minimal wait, great service and was over all pleased with the cut... one of my kids has aspergers and laughed and enjoyed the visit, totally recommend

The new guy Mike is really good. I had been using Shaq since 2008 but he retired. Hope Mike is around for a while!
