Dawson Dental Queen & Yonge Street

I was pretty happy with this office for several years but the last experiences have been awful. I had a tooth chip repair which was not done very well and I called the next day to book for a redo. I was told I was due for a cleaning and requested a particular hygienist. In order to coordinate the dentist and hygienist I was given a date several weeks later on December 6th. On December 5th, my appointment was delayed to December 29th, due to the office move. On December 6th the person who changed the appointment called and asked if I was going in. I told her that the appointment had been changed by her and she inferred that the the first appointment was not cancelled" and unfortunately did not take any responsibility for the mis up.The day before my December 29th appointment I received a call from the same person to ask if I could attend at an alternate location. She assured me that my requested hygienist would be there and the dentist would be there to repair the chip. I attended on December 29th only to be greeted by a hygienist that I did NOT request and then found that the dentist could not perform the repair as the facilities were not available at that location.Most of the issues appear to be related to a lack of quality in the reception services at this location."

I had not been in in a while due in part to COVID and was pleasantly surprised by the new location. Ashley my dental hygienist was fabulous, very gentle but thorough. Couldn’t recommend her more highly. Handy downtown location.

Linda is incredible. I’m not one for having my teeth cleaned. She made me feel comfortable and listened to my story. Incredibly a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend asking for Linda.

Returning patient, after having briefly moved away and I’m happy to be back. As usual I received excellent care. My new hygienist Linda is amazing. She was gentle and thorough, now my smile and mouth look and feel fantastic!

I 've been going to the Queen street dental office for well over 20 years. It was always a GREAT experience!! Once it became Dawson -- the wheels fell off. This is what happened. I was booked for my regular cleaning. I received a partial cleaning and coerced into buying a night guard. I was also told that if I wanted to see the dentist who I've seen for 20 years that I MUST request him at the time of booking. So things proceeded with a new dentist. I was fitted for the mouth guard and booked an appointment a couple weeks later. This appointment was to finish the cleaning and pick up the mouth guard. Two weeks later I picked up the mouth guard and asked about the cleaning. Blank stares -- is all I got. So now I've payed full price for a partial cleaning and full price for a mouth guard I didn't need. (My grinding damage occurred many years ago when I was under very stressful life circumstances -- all that has changed -- this is something my dentist knows about. But I wasn't able to see him -- as I had not requested him at the time of booking).On the upside -- at my latest appointment I brought this up with my dentist of 20 years. Cause now I know that I had to request him. Anyway -- it's all better now -- and I STRONGLY recommend that if you book an appointment with Dawson Queen street that you ask for the staff who were there when it was called Queen Dental. They are WONDERFUL. They care, they treat you well and you get what every patient deserves -- continuity of professional service.

Dr. Mandel has been my dentist for 35 years and my children and their children are patients as well as my exhusband.The staff and crew are always welcoming and efficient!I attend every three months to keep tartar free which builds up quite quickly in my teeth!I continue to be quite pleased with the care being given to me and my family’s dental care!

I’ve had a phenomenal experience at Dawson Dental. Receptionists are pretty responsive and helpful, and Dr AlAzawi is amazing. He’s very professional and incredibly experienced. He explains the procedure / steps he’s going to do beforehand so you know what to expect at each step, and he regularly checks in to make sure the patient is comfortable. My check ups, crown replacement, and anything else he’s ever worked on with me has been top notch! Will definitely be back at this dental office and I’ve already referred friends and family to Dr.AlAzawi

Dr. Mandel examined me and explained the need to remove a badly decayed wisdom tooth.We discussed the various ways and I chose surgery which he arranged.Friendly , professional efficient practice I've been attending for over 20 years.Highly recommend

I've been going here for a few years now and everyone from the Front desk staff, to the hygienists have been great! Very nice and welcoming. The new location is also a plus as its very convenient to get too.
