Arash impressed us from day one with his sincere and honest approach when it came to evaluating and quoting our three-bathroom renovation project, which also involved the rebuilding of a staircase and the laying of new vinyl flooring throughout our basement.Despite this being my wife's and my first major renovation — and having only heard horror stories from others — I'm very happy to say our experience was smooth sailing throughout, with our final cost matching our expectations, and the results exceeding our expectations. When slight surprises were discovered, Arash offered immediate assurances of finding cost-effective solutions (and came through every time) and was upfront and transparent about any additional costs that were incurred during the two-month process — none of which turned out to be significant.Arash uses a familiar team of plumbers, electricians, tilers, and painters who all treated the project (as well as our home) with the same level of care and dedication as Arash himself. His team was especially diligent about keeping work areas as clear as possible, and would regularly sweep up at the end of each workday.We are thrilled with the outcome of the project and the quality of all the work performed, and would happily hire Arash and his team again.

I recently completed a full house renovation that included three bathrooms, one powder room, flooring throughout the house, a complete kitchen renovation with a quartz countertop, painting, and millwork including the fireplace and pot lights. Summit contractor did a fantastic job from start to finish. The project was completed on schedule, within budget, and exceeded our expectations.What impressed me the most was how Arash and his team took great care in protecting our home and belongings during the renovation. They were also very honest, experienced, and skilled, always ready to answer any questions we had. They even provided some excellent ideas for bathroom design that we hadn't considered before which helps us a lot .The quality of the work was exceptional, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. I have used Arash & his team at Summit Contractors for a smaller job in the past. After comparing contractor quotes I decided to work with him again for the renovation of our basement bathroom and main floor including kitchen.The work is good, but the most important thing about Arash is that he is ethical, kind and will not leave you high & dry. With so much demand for construction, I have found many providers tend to leave things 95% done and call the job finished. Arash makes sure everything is done and that you are happy. This is a rarity in construction today.His team was also able to identify and fix work that would have led to problems down the road such as poorly routed plumbing.Pricing is transparent and fair.

Arash and his team of professionals were wonderful to work with when it came to our bathroom renovation - from talking through the design (keeping in mind the needs of an inter-generational home) to the demolition work through to the final paint and trimming and installation of the walk-in shower glass by Itsglassified.COVID protocols, daily clean-ups, and a clear project plan with timelines for the stages of the work meant that we felt safe and could work from home without interruption throughout the renovation.We are extremely happy with the results - each member of Arash's team from demolition, plumbing and electrical, to plaster, painting and tile installation are professional, punctual, great at what they do, and pay attention to details. We're in a pretty typical 1800's Toronto city townhome in which every part of it had been renovated at different points in time, so it's just a mish mash of styles with no cohesion. Therefore we've been on a journey to try and bring a more cohesive, vintage modern style to the townhome and we couldn't have asked for better partners than Summit Contractors for our master bath and powder room renovation!Despite several add ons from me after the project had started, they were still able to finish within the original timeline. Additionally, any time I had an add on Arash was able to accurately and clearly communicate any additional cost it may incur so there were zero surprises during the process. Arash also had an eye for customization and made sure that everything down to the shower head height was exactly what we wanted!The entire team was quick and efficient while working and I think it's worth mentioning that they had no issues navigating parking or working in a busy, downtown Toronto area as we've had several contractors refuse to work with us given our location.Also, due to health issues, I was unable to travel to pick out supplies for the renovations. So all of Summit's vendors had no problem doing phone and Facetime consultations with me to accommodate me.We've been through several renovations and contractors in the past and the attention to detail and quality of Summit's work is definitely the best we've seen. Cannot recommend Arash and his team more and we hope to use them again for our kitchen renovation!

I contracted Summit to replace my new homes main floor entryway tiles, and do a full remodel of my kitchen and master bathroom. Arash and his team at Summit did a phenomenal job with everything. Each renovated area looks absolutely stunning and the quality of the execution is evident. Everyone who saw my kitchen couldn't stop raving about it.Arash was great from a project management standpoint guiding us along the way with decision making. The project was completed in a timely manner. His entire team was great to work with it as well. Special shout out to his son Sami who is very helpful polite young man.With regards to project cost, I would say Arash is competitively priced and puts a lot of value in quality of materials used and workmanship which is reflected in the cost. But investing in the higher quality today may save you headaches down the road.I will highly recommend Summit for any interior renovation projects for the inside of your homes.

We converted a large powder room on our entrance level into a small bathroom with shower stall. This involved gutting the space, digging up the foundation for the new floor plan, reframing to take space from an adjacent closet and accommodate a new path for water pipes, and reflooring the adjacent entrance hallway. As soon as the new shower was usable, we started on updating the only other bathroom in the house so work was going on in both areas at once. Both rooms have gone from 1970s horror shows (purple toilet!) to warm, classic spaces that are nicer than anything we could've imagined.Arash, Amir, Haider and the rest of the team were highly professional and also great fun to work with. We were especially impressed by their solid work ethic and desire to completely satisfy the homeowner's expectations. They helped me to understand what was feasible to do and what was not, and were very open to discussing any issues that arose. Almost everything I had on my mention this" list was taken care of before I could mention it. Arash actually does care about making his clients happyInitial ImpressionI found Arash on Homestar and we had several meetings with him to discuss various ideas. I like to use these meetings to gauge the other person. Last thing I want is someone who is in it only for the money rather than making their clients happy. What stood out about Arash was he was on time and made some great suggestions that we probably would have never thought of on our own. Based on his level of interest, professionalism, honesty and my gut instincts that he’s a trustworthy guy we went ahead to hire him.DemolitionDuring the demolition phase Arash and his crew were very respectful of our home. What distinguished them was they made the effort to protect our floors and stairs with a high quality product. I don't recall the name of the product but it was blue and was designed to be waterproof and protect against any heavy items dropping on the floor. It definitely wasn't the cheap paper covers that i’ve seen some contractors use in the past. I also liked how they cleaned up after each day despite the master bedroom not being occupied. By doing this choir, it did make me feel like they didn’t treat my home like a job site.Creating Our New WashroomThis was probably one of the most exciting parts of our project. Once we saw them starting to build our new washroom it became easier to envision the entire layout. The first thing that comes to mind that stood out about Arash and his team was they were always thinking ahead. This allowed them to give us some options and make recommendations. The reason this is important to me is I have limited knowledge about this field so to have someone present me the options and answer my questions that meant a lot to me. For example, presenting us the two best options for waterproofing in the shower.A good example of Arash and his team thinking ahead is when they helped us run a new water line from our water tank into the new washroom. This allowed us to have a direct source of hot and cold water vs borrowing from the washroom next door. I loved how he took the initiative to get this done for us despite us never talking about it before.At the end of each day, my wife and I would take a look at the progress of our washroom and we really liked the workmanship of their team. No shortcuts were taken. This was one of our fears after watching all these shows on HGTV. I am glad Summit Contractors takes pride in their work.Final TouchesThe final piece of work was installing a barn door for us. It wasn’t a straightforward process due to our wall. Again, Arash thought outside of the box and came up with a brilliant idea to ensure the barn door did not damage our wall and also creatively added stoppers where required. My wife is extremely happy with her new barn door!Towards the end of the project Arash made sure everything that he had originally promised us was done. He had a check list and went through each item ensuring we both agreed. He definitely kept his word from start to finish.RecommendationMy wife and I highly recommend Arash and his team at Summit Contractors. High quality work, fair prices, Arash keeps his word and he works to make his customers happy. His team is truly fantastic. Our 100 year old home had a tiny bathroom for our family of four with desperate need for an overhaul. As the main bathroom it needed to be beautiful but above all functional.Arash and his team from Summit Contractors were incredible. Correspondence was exceptional, every member of his team was professional and the level of detail was pristine.Even with all the typical surprises with renovations in an older home the Reno was seamless and perfectly on schedule.With such a small space everything was custom and we would have trusted it with no one else!
