My dog got a porcupine at our cottage and had a mouthful of quills. I called Wakefield asking for help because my vet was 2 hours away and they were the closest option. The office told me they were too busy and couldn't help me. No suggestions of where to go or what to do. Not impressed.

I am new in the area. Called to meet and greet, and reserve a yearly check up for my two adult dogs. I live in Masham, and they don't take any new clients that are not from Wakefield. No recommendation, no we are sorry, no please call in a few months, nothing... wow! Well you won't get nothing back from me, you will get this very accurate review.

Pricing is comparable to past vets I've gone to and- in my opijion- is quite reasonable. Great service, friendly and open to my questions, with next to no wait for my appointments. I'm happy to have access to a local veterinarian to help me care for my pets!

Our sweet little 18 yr old cat Bernie " took a bad turn very quickly at about 3 pm. We made the decision that this was the sign that it was time . We knew she was in great distress and wouldn't make it till the next day . We were at our cottage and our usual vet is back home in Milton Ontario 500kms away. A quick call to this clinique and they fit us into their busy schedule that afternoon . The staff were all exceptionally considerate and everything was explained to us and carried out in a very carring and compassionate manner. We would highly recommend this clinic ."

Took my cat for a first time visit. The examination was like 30 seconds. The Vet ran her fingers through his hair and quickly checked his teeth. All they wanted to do was inject the cat with vaccines and even though I said I didn’t want the rabbis vaccine they still gave it. The price was more than when I called. When I called to complain afterwards they said the vet would call me back and never did. I had another appointment that I didn’t turn up to for a supposed booster shot and they never even called to follow up. If you care about your animals don’t take them here.
