My mother lived at 8 Gilbert Street.Never realized the state of the place years ago till the coroner took her body out of place after she took her life.Mouse ridden, patio door half off( during winter) due to no maintenance!!!My family were extremely upset!!Very unpleasant living conditions.

I have had nothing but a great experience with housing. All the housing officers I have had have been polite and helpful to me. I got very sick in 2016 and the officer I had at that time was just fabulous and I will sing her praises forever and a day. I had a brain tumour and only for her I probably would be on the street. She was great. I thank the heavens every day that I am in housing as I would never afford to live elsewhere. Very grateful.

The people who work here that I have dealt with have been amazing. The units however definitely need some government funding to help with repairs. They could definitely use a lot of funding to build more units to help combat homelessness in our province.
