Mariposa Market
They are all happy people in there. Ready to serve, help and treat you. Fairly priced and I got six mini cakes for $24, tasty as they could be. The coffee is strong and brewed well. Although I’ve not bought much but they have some interesting cookery and gift items. Good luck and keep up this great place.

Have only been here once, to pick up a bunch of treats. The donuts, loafs and pastries are delicious and well priced. They also have a wide variety of spreads and savoury food.I would definitely come back for lunch in the future.

The Mariposa Market is the pinnacle of small town charm. It's filled with homemade jams, pickled vegetables, baked goods, cakes, donuts, bread, sandwiches, and more. The basement even has the cutest shop filled with locally crafted kitchen items and delicious fudge. It's the perfect place to explore, grab a bite to eat and sit upstairs at a table to people watch, or just grab a few fun treats. If I lived closer I'd be here every week. Don't miss stopping at this iconic market if you're in the area -- it lives up to the hype!

Mariposa Market
Very large space that is more than just sweet treats. It truly is a market with lots to offer. Jams, cakes, cookies, tarts, etc., a place to sit down for a meal and a drink, good selection of gift ideas and Apple Annie’s chocolates in the lower level. We bought:Lemon loaf- yummy and moistMaple Pecan tarts- crust is a tad dry and a bit on the sweet side but otherwise goodMuskoka berry pie - great filling but so sad some of the filling seeped out during transport. Crust bottom is a bit gummy but the top crust is beautiful and perfectWould definitely recommend stopping by. There is street parking available as well as a parking lot across the street.

This has to be my favourite market now. Delicious food that looks aesthetically pleasing to one’s eye and so many choices to choose from. Will go back again in the future!

Mariposa Market
Nice big store with lots of food variety and different products in store. Service was okay, atmosphere was very busy! The cheesecake is so good though. My only complaint is how creaky the floors are, are they suppose to make so much noise when you’re walking?

We visit Orillia after camping at Bass Lake Provincial Park. It is around 15 minutes drive. It is on Victoria Day therefore most shops on the town are closed except Mariposa Market. Street parking is free on Sunday and public holiday, otherwise parking is $3 per hour. Mariposa Market is full of visitors, you can buy coffee and cakes and hot food and dine at the 2nd floor. There are lots of local products like jams, chutney, chocolate. There are tee shirts, soft toys and souvenirs, a good place to spend an hour there.

We just went to Orillia for a fun day and we started our day in this beautiful bakery and coffee shop. Everything looks delicious we buy different desserts from donuts to muffins and of course their delicious cookie. We will return here for sure.Update 2023-05: me husband and I make the Victoria weekend a Mariposa market day" we went from Toronto just to try different items that we don't have the last time.I am attaching the new pictures. We start with something savory and we pick chicken beer pie

Cakes and pastries are really good, little too sweet but good in taste. We ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and it was amazing.
