I recently had the opportunity to hire Coat System Inc in Mississauga, Ontario, to do the flooring in my shop. Unfortunately, my experience with them left much to be desired. The initial job they did was of poor quality, with a horrible and uneven finish. However, to their credit, they were responsive and came back the next day to attempt to rectify the situation.During their return visit, they did make some improvements to the floor. However, the only way they were able to address the issues was by sanding the top and applying a significant amount of additional epoxy. This resulted in a thick, ultra-glossy, smooth epoxy floor with paint chips embedded beneath it. While I had originally requested a traditional paint chip floor, the final outcome was not what I had envisioned.Having had similar flooring projects done in the past, I can confidently say that this was not the expected or desired outcome. While the floor is now manageable, it falls far short of meeting my expectations. Overall, I would rate the job a disappointing 1 out of 5. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Coat System Inc to others seeking quality flooring services. The photos represent the job prior to them coming back out and attempting to correct it. The last three photos are the after correction photos you can see It’s more even but now alter glossy from the extra epoxy. I do honestly think that the companies capable of doing the job I just don’t know what went wrong in my case. I paid several thousands of dollars for this as well so I was expecting a better job. I don’t think it’s fair to judge the company solely based on my experience. But all I can do is honestly share what I went through.

Very professional business owner. Good experience choosing flooring finishes and having the work done. We are really pleased with our garage flooring. I have and will continue to recommend this business.

We used this company for our home and they did a terrible job. It was peeling within a couple days. We had to remove it ourselves. No sanding or prepping. Took our money and ran. Totally got ripped off! Do not recommend

Do not use these guys. They charged me a lot indicating they were going to use a UV proof coating. My whole garage is yellow because they use the cheap stuff that is affected by UV, and now the contact Tony won’t respond to my messages. I actually think he blocked me. Low quality, high prices, Terrible workmanship, and bad customer service. It doesn’t get any worse than this.

Just got my garage floor and porch floor done using Polyaspartic coating by COAT Systems Floors Mississauga. Communication was responsive and clear, took them two days to finish the job, but was professionally done, loved it.

Worker was very friendly and professional and the job was very satisfying and durable.

I went with Coat Systems after many good reviews but had a very bad experience. I met up with Tony to see if he can match the color I needed for my floor but there were limited color selections. He said he needs to order color boards to make two samples for me and I would have to leave $1000 deposit. I left the deposit and waited a week for the samples. The sample colors did not match, and I called Tony and left a message asking for my deposit back minus the cost to create the samples. I received no answer, next time I called Tony his phone number was disconnected. I called Coat Systems directly 5 times and explained the situation. The person named Shady I spoke too said a supervisor will call me back. A month later I have never received a call to set this straight. Be careful with this company and do NOT leave a large deposit as you will most likely NOT get it back.

Thank you for the great work done on my garage floor in the first week of September. Tony was great todeal with and maintained constant contact throughout the installation. The whole team worked vary hard, completed on time with quality that exceeded my expectations. Keep up the great work and thank you for a fabulous looking floor!

Professional, Polite and understanding. Tony is straight forward and responsive to all questions. I highly recommend dealing with him as he would deliver as promised.The quotation was reasonable and I decided to go with them immediately. The crew arrived and finished the job in two days. Tony himself visited the site to ensure everything is going fine. The job was done well. However, I noticed an issue after two days and contacted Tony. His response was positive and he promised to send the crew to fix the issue. Lo behold, the crew arrived and they did more than I asked for.The garage looks shiny and so clean. We are satisfied with the quality of work. Would recommend this company.
