Joyces Braiding & Hair

I went there to do My weave Brazilian And I loved it and think she should have taken way more time to actually straighten my hair, because the next day it went back to my curly hair. The reason why I gave it a low rating is because I can show proof I called her 3 times and asked exactly how much it is so I can withdraw the money in cash. She had told me $200 I said okay. I’m 17 so I don’t have much money but I thought $200 was a good price. Then I go do my hair. And right after when we are going to pay she tells us it’s $120 extra. When I previously asked her how much it was over the phone exactly she didn’t not tell me that if she did I wouldn’t have gone there to do my hair. I paid $320 for hair that’s not properly finished. Yes I have 24 inches of weave but I’d like her to tel me when I asked how much it is. Because I called 3 times but yet she choose to tell me it’s an extra $120 after the hair is finished. I’m not hating I liked the hair that day I still do but I wish she told me before it was $120 and I wish she spend more time straightening the hair, now I need to go pay at a salon to get the leave out straightened. You can’t do that too people because people have things to do with their money so if you told me $200 that’s what I planned and the rest of my money I had to do other things with also for my son. Keep in mind I’m 17 I do not work! $120 to do the hair and the pack of hair is $200, you should tell people that when booking the appointment.

I went to Joyce's shop the other day and she did an amazing job on my hair, exactly what i wanted and in good time. She is an excellent braider and stylist, will definitely be coming back when i next go to Calgary!

I had to go over all the reviews to be sure I was not over reacting with the service I got . Joyce’s braiding and hair may be good with BRADING and Dreadlocks , but she is definitely clueless when it comes to relaxing and handling hair as it is . My first 2 visits were to just wash but when I went in to relax my hair , the service was so bad that I had to stop before the relaxer did any damage to my hair . And she was so defensive and insulting Nigerians . Who does that in a service Industry? ???

I had a great time doing my hair braiding at Joyce 's salon I had lots of laughs it felt like home Joyce was really nice to me she was kind . I will recommend Joyce's salon anytime to any one. I have people asking me already and some turning heads to admire my hair braiding. Thanks Joyce for making me look so beautiful

I came at 11am today she was very nice and told me to come back at 1pm I hungout inside the shop for a few minutes. When I came back she proceeded to take out wash and dry my hair. I allowed her to help another individual. I don't see her discriminating against any Nigerian she was very sweet lady. Love Mama Joyce always!!!! I will be back.

First time going to see Joyce, and it was a blessed experience she is a very good hair braider.She did exactly what I wanted her to do, If someone ask me where can they get their hair braided? I will definitely recommend Joyce. Good energy as well. Thanks again!
