Anova Fertility & Reproductive Health

They can't be trusted and should't be allowed to operate. I had horrible experiences here and wasted years that I will never get back. They gave me the wrong results on two occasions and told me not to conceive naturally due to a health concern which after a year they told me didn't actually exist. What a waste of time. They even told me if I don't do IVF my baby will have down syndrome! Which is not even possible to determine according to actual science. They are not real doctors just willing to say do and say anything to get you to do IVF and dig deep into your pockets, there are many other better places.

I have been getting my treatment from Anova since 2022 and I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they have done for me! Grateful and thankful. They are kind, sensitive and have heard all my questions relevant or irrelevant with patience and empathy.A very special thanks to the embryology team of taking care of my ‘em babies with so much love and being there for me whenever I needed. All the technologists: Ms Christine, Ms Hanna who seen my baby the 1st time, can’t thank you enough. the Appointment started very close to the scheduled time, which was very nice. The Doctor clearly explained everything they were looking to do for testing, and made recommendations for us to do leading up to follow up appointments.

I would give more stars if I could. We started at this clinic about two weeks after it opened (the lights still had the plastic wrapping on them!) and they supported the birth of all three of my babies over the past six years. Very supportive teams of both Dr. Dixon and Dr. Mahmoud, nursing, acupuncture, and the other amazing techs. It has really felt like a family is behind you supporting you on your journey, even the darkest days - there is support and answers. I cannot say enough good things and am so glad that my family physician referred me here!

I have recently started my process with Dr.Dixon after seeing her on tv speaking about the same uterine issue that I have. I’ve been seeing specialists and doctors for 4 years now, sometimes waiting upwards of 11 months to be seen and received no help. I was at the point of considering looking out of country for help or giving up on ever finding a doctor who cared and then I came across Dr.Dixon. I got an appointment within a week or so of being referred and had a phone appointment. From there we started blood draws, ultrasounds and my sono. Typically I am extremely fearful of needles and HATE getting blood drawn and have had nurses struggle to find a vein. The nurses at both North York and University are fantastic. No pain, quick and easy and always so kind. The ultrasound technicians check in and are also very kind. Dr.Dixon herself is fantastic. She did my sono and even through the pain, she was making me laugh and chatting. I am very excited to continue on with a doctor who cares and so grateful to finally feel like somebody’s in my corner and will help. Big thank you to every staff member who’s worked with me thus far and Dr.Dixon! It’s hard to find a specialist, hospital or anywhere that you go at a low point that has strictly good reviews, but I urge you to reach out and form your own opinion on Anova, I’m so glad I did.

Looks new and clean. Scheduling appointments may be a bit of a challenge. If you arrive with a full bladder for an ultrasound be prepared to wait half an hour. The majority of the staff is friendly and with a positive attitude. Good relaxing music while you wait and different beverage options available like water and coffee. Free wifi.

Ten years, 2 different clinics, 7 unsuccessful IUI’s and 3 miscarriages, but Anova and the staff never let me give up. They kept me hoping and gave me faith. I’m grateful to every single person on the Anova team that I have met and interacted with. 11 weeks in and I still have faith that this pregnancy will last. Thank you all so much. You are literally creating miracles.

I had a great experience with Anova - specifically the downtown location. They are very accommodating and kind. The nurses also do a great job explaining medical results, how to take medication and follow-up. In addition I had my consultation and egg freezing with Dr Dixon and she is absolutely phenomenal!!! She made the experience fun, stress-free and easy! She has great interpersonal skills , but is very knowledgeable! She is a gem!

Me and my husband would like to thank Dr. Mahmoud who did our second transfer, our Mosaic embryo was a success and now we have our miracle baby boy. Thank you Anova team, you made our dream into a reality. We are so gratefull to all of you!
