I stopped in to see the gang at Evolve a few times over the last couple months while I decided on whether I would get back into mountain biking. So much has changed with bikes the last few years and they were great at answering any questions I had and helped me determine which bike would fit me the best. The bike was in stock on my last visit so I pulled the trigger and was on the trails with a tuned up bike the same day. Thanks guys!

The customer service was amazing! They talked to us about hockey, gave us suggestions on things to do while we were in town and even offered to let's us borrow there own personal items. So much factual knowledge about products custom skates sticks ect. It litterally blew my mind they were so kind and helpful hands down pgs best hockey shop.

I bought a Specialized Levo Alloy from Evolve. Just wanted to say Joshua the mechanic is first rate. Not only did he fix the issue I had, he looked up any recalls and changed a part that may cause an issue in the future.I got a spec" of dirt in the charging system. Got to say I was rather upset. Joshua calmly talked me through a solution which worked and I have had no other issues with the bike. What I really appreciate about Joshua is how calm he is regardless of how "uncalm" I was. He is a valuable asset to Evolve."

My 10+ year old skates finally broke so time for an upgrade. Cole, Aidan, and Joshua were all excellent, took the time to walk me through all different option with expert knowledge. Unbelievable service will be back for all future hockey gear needs! Thank you so much!

As someone pretty new to Prince George I’ve been looking for a reputable spot for getting my skates done and to find new gear. Most recommendations and referrals were to Player’s Bench, and specifically for Josh when it came to the skates.Well, those recommendations were warranted. Not only was the customer service fantastic but Josh saved my skates and did so in time for me to make my ice time. No need for new skates, a new holder, or a new blade - he salvaged it and provided an awesome sharpening job complete with feedback on it all.In a new city where I’ve found great customer service in multiple spots, Player’s Bench is deservedly right there at the top of that list. I will certainly be coming back.

My son's favorite pasttime when he is home from camp work, is biking. While he is away a few weeks at a time, we get his bike fixed up for the next time he is home so he can just go.You know you have great customer service when I walk in with his bike and the staff recognizes me and knows exactly what to do to get my son's bike ready.Excellent service, friendly staff. Incredible customer service! I live down in Vancouver and I purchased a bike that went on sale (for a fantastic deal). I wasn’t sure I could afford the shipping, so Liza and her team sent the bike down with a friend who was passing through Vancouver on their way to the island. These people truly care, thank you for everything!

I stop by Players Bench in October 2022 and I’m so glad I did! The staff provided me with excellent support in finding the right skates. I had no idea what I needed, but they were so patient and understanding. Even when my feet were still sore and uncomfortable after “a few” uses (March 2023), they continued to help me out. Josh even spent a couple of hours measuring and adjusting the fit. I am so grateful for his help and patience. I’m so happy with how my feet feel now during and after skating, and I’ll definitely be returning to Players Bench in the future. -Cheryl
