How do you take a fantastic lodge on a great lake and make it better? You add a wonderful host.We have been staying at White Moose Outpost (Horwood Outpost) for the past 6 years. If you have been to the lodge I think you would agree it's a lodge that checks all the boxes, comfortable accommodations, nice boats and plenty of fish to keep you busy all week. For years now, people have been tolerating a terrible host because of what the camp has to offer, well that has all changed. New owners brought along a new host, Scott is a welcomed change and has filled a void that has been missing for years. From the time you arrive until you leave, Scott is there to ensure you have everything you need and you are having a great time. The difference between Scott and the previous owner is night and day. If you have been hesitant about going because of the stories you have heard or previous experiences you've had, you can set those reservations aside.Had a great trip and hope to have many more at White Moose Outpost.
