When you can't go or don't have the time to go to a farmer's market, Fruiterie 440 is the next best thing. Very well organized store, clean, fruits and vegetables are well stacked, cashiers are very efficient.

Everything you would need in one place to make a nice dinner. Fruits and vegetables in the fruit store. Then you have a meat shop or if you fancy sausages there is a sausage shop. There is a cheese shop as well. And for dessert there is an amazing pastry shop on site. I recommend this place. Check it out yourselves.

Went into this fruit store November 2020. The store is attractive with a good selection. However, I was disappointed at the quality of the produce I bought. The clementines from Morocco that come in the box were dry. It was like eating cardboard. The cucumbers that looked good became all bumpy, soft and watery after two days in the fridge. It was so difficult to peel the skin off. Very disappointed in the quality of the produce!

Nice fresh product at reasonable prices for the most part. Loses 1 star just because they are in an old mall that sort of sinks.

Nice clean produce store. The prices are average. Some of the fruits taste like cardboard like the honeydew melon I bought... totally tasteless. Got a papaya a week ago... same thing, no taste. But also got organic blackberries and those tasted great so it's a hit or miss... a Fruiterie" should care more for their main product's quality. 3 stars."

I really appreciate shopping in this establishment. A quite large variety of fruits and vegetables are carried here. They are of very good quality; they are fresh, and thus last usually longer than those bought in traditional grocery stores. You can also find nuts and seeds here.The staff is very friendly and efficient. Also there are a few other shops of interest in the same mall, such as a bakery, a butcher and a specialty grocery store.

At the 440 I most often go to Saveurs d'Europe. Because of their turnover their cold cuts are always fresh and really delicious. Some products like espresso coffee, you can get really good deals if you buy in bulk. Ask for Gaspard. I also ordered a Tiramisu at Pizza Gourmand that was to die for.
