Vesta Design Center

We used Vesta for an extensive renovation of a lake property we purchased in Quebec. Vicky and Lauren were instrumental in helping us develop the look we were seeking to achieve - a farmhouse style country home. Lauren designed our kitchen to fit what was a very small space and Vicky helped us with a colour palette that was mostly white. We selected a uniform white quartz to match our shaker doors and cross accents and white to the ceiling cabinets. We did a large format white subway tile on the walls and also purchased some white oak LVT. We were very happy with the attention to detail in the design of the space. Lauren incorporated useful hardware that made our small kitchen work better than the one that we have at our house in the city. We were quite happy with the finished product and the final look of our space.

Update: Our counters have now been installed and I am so happy with the end results. The counters are beautiful.However the process of getting to the final stages of install with this company was not great. Communication was lacking from all stages. In the end the Manager and the Owner took over our account and ensured that we had the repair done (a portion was installed incorrectly).I understand that we are still living in Covid times. But it is paramount that clients no matter how big or small feel heard.We did purchase through IKEA and the process and what we were told at time of purchase from IKEA is not the facts that were told to us once we got to the Vesta stage. I encourage you to if purchasing Quartz or specialty counters to go directly to the company and not go through IKEA.

Wow! Everyone we dealt with at Vesta from our original inquiry through to installation was knowledgable and professional. The team are clearly engaged and passionate about delivering a high quality product and service. We are delighted with our new countertop. 10 out of 10 Vesta Team.

Vesta was great until they weren't. They laid out the countertop beautifully and all should have been good. Unfortunately, they broke one of the pieces in transit and immediately cut another. Although from the same slab, the replacement piece is from another area on the slab so a poor match in both veining and colour to the piece it is seamed with. No consulting me until after it was cut and installed. The seam looks terrible. According to Vesta, their contractual obligation is that the veining goes in the same direction - that's it. Does not matter that the veins do not line up well or the colour is completely different. I would have preferred seeing what they were doing before they cut the replacement piece, options for a better solution rather than a quick fix. What should be the showpiece of my kitchen is actually a very disappointing countertop.

Vesta did a full reno of our kitchen and flooring in spring 2022. We love our kitchen design and selections by Vicky and Lauren. As for the contractor (GC), he was outstanding and addressed any issues that came up throughout the reno. I would like to acknowledge Vicky for her design recommendations and for being professional and responsive throughout the project.

The folks at Vesta, and especially Christina, are amazing! We wanted our counter to be the focal point of our new kitchen, and Vesta delivered beyond our expectations. The stone is gorgeous, and I find myself staring at it throughout the day. :)Like all projects, we experienced some delays (not the fault of Vesta) and Vesta was accommodating with our multiple date changes for measurements.The installers were quick, clean and efficient and I would not hesitate to use Vesta again.

We chose Vesta Marble and Granite Co. (Vesta) for our purchase and installation of the granite needed for our renovation project and are very satisfied customers.We recently converted our wood-burning fireplace to a gas one and opted to have a granite hearth and fireplace contour installed instead of porcelain. We chose Vesta out of the several granite companies we visited in Ottawa not only for the incredible selection of granite available but for the outstanding front-line service we received. Leadia Younan, the designer we worked with, was simply “fantastic”. We can’t thank her enough for her excellent service and extreme dedication towards her work. Extremely pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable, she proposed a great design and expertly guided us in choosing the granite color that would not only enhance our family room but would blend perfectly with our furniture. She also addressed very promptly any question we had during the whole process, which extended over a few months from the taking of the template to the actual installation. Adam and Ozzi did a very professional job with the overall installation and particularly in realizing the outside double-edge trim we had envisaged in the design. Finding a good and reliable granite company to work with in your renovation project in these COVID times poses a challenge, as the granite companies are also confronted with employee turnover issues. From our experience, Vesta proved to be up to the task of realizing what our design required and although there was a slight set back in the installation schedule, their access, reliability and the expertise displayed by the installation team made that minor inconvenience vanish from our memory, as soon as we saw the end result. We strongly recommend Vesta and their designer Leadia to anyone needing to purchase and have granite installed in their renovation project.

We had a backsplash installed in our kitchen this week and we are very pleased with the results. Leadia was most helpful in helping us choose just the right backsplash and the installers were professional, made sure everything was just right, and tidied up well before they left.

The entire experience with Vesta has been impressive. From our first meeting with Leadia Younan, who took great interest and care in guiding our project, we felt like we were dealing with the right people for our kitchen and bath surfaces. The good service continued with Martin in templating through the installation work provided by Max, Tyler, Adam and Laurent. And we have to mention Alyssa’s friendly updates as well.
