Love Riley! Very friendly and reliable. He tunes my piano every year to help prepare my piano studio to open each fall. He does a great job for a very reasonable price. He has also given me great advice in between servicing and has helped stabilize my piano very nicely. I highly recommend him to anyone, from the casual piano owner to the professional player.

Riley is truly a master of his craft! As soon as I started talking to him I immediately got the feeling I was in good hands. He spent a fair bit of time talking with me and working with my piano to make it sound more beautiful than I have ever heard it play! In addition, he was able to give me more information on the history and value of my piece than any previous tuner that I had seen work on it. I would highly, highly recommend him!

Mastery of the craft! It was a joy to watch a true professional work on my piano. I am a curious type, and Riley was so kind to answer all my questions about his work. If you have an old piano that you've been told to give up on I highly recommend Riley. After my 120 year old McMillan piano was shrugged off as too old to tune" by other technicians

I really appreciated Riley's holistic approach in servicing and tuning my 50 year old piano. Such care and attention to bring my nanny's piano back to life! Brushing the felt hammers, adjusting loose keys, fixing the thin, tinny sound, and tuning perfectly! He is professional, friendly, and a joy to watch. I was so impressed with his gift of tuning by ear!

Riley has been caring for our Piano for many years now, which is a challenge for an 127 year old instrument. We've always found him to be friendly, professional and very knowledgable about his passion! He is proactive and is very cognizant of our current covid environment and preps accordingly.He even went above and beyond to help us find a great piano for our daughter when she moved into her own place.I would highly recommend Stairs Pianocraft to anyone with a new piano and certainly one with an older one

Riley has been servicing our old upright piano for a couple of years and does an excellent job. He has not only brought the tuning up to concert pitch, but has been proactive in suggesting repairs and enhancements. Today, he replaced the bass unichord hammers, adjusted the motion and let off regulation, and made some further voicing changes. Our 60-year old piano now has a crisp, bright sound and plays like it was new. Riley is very friendly and always on time for appointments. His work first-rate and fairly priced. I highly recommend him.
