Vik's Lake & George Bistro
Good burgers and fries ( you know they're good when you don't need a dipping sauce). My dining companion had the perogies and sausage that came with the same delicious fries . It was a bitter cold but quiet afternoon so we had a choice of tables. The service was polite and very attentive. They have an extensive menu and a nice variety. We'll be returning clients. Cheers

Went for dinner with my grandma and had the most amazing experience The service we received was so unmatched. We enjoyed every single bite of our meal.Amazing staff, well priced and such a cozy little restaurant.If you haven’t been here before I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Vik’s Bistro is my favourite place in Peterborough! Excellent service, food, and pricing. Vik and his staff are lovely! We are repeating customers who often show up for their divine breakfast selection. Today we went for lunch, and we had a ham sandwich with salad, and a chicken and bacon wrap with an absolutely scrumptious cream of broccoli soup as a side. Vik’s Bistro is the perfect place to stop in on the way to or from the PTBO Music Fest this summer. Parking behind the Bistro along with being very central! It is always a pleasure to visit! :)

Highly recommend the baked mac n cheese! Great flavour and cheesy with small amount of bacon for texture and none of those awful bread crumbs. Now to try the breakfast!

Great food, great service! My husband and I went here for breakfast recently, and as always, were met with Vik’s friendly attitude and welcoming hospitality. My husband got an eggs Benedict and I had the breakfast sandwich. Both menu items were fresh and delicious. My husband can’t stop raving about the hollandaise sauce and how tasty it was! This restaurant’s a great addition to Peterboroughs outstanding food scene. We will soon become regulars at this location.

I can't express how much I enjoyed my meal and visit to Vik's this afternoon for lunch. Beautifully presented and super tasty! I loved the burger, it's perfectly seasoned and cooked. The combination of flavors was surprising in the best possible way! The fries were tasty without the need to be over salted!Everything was so fresh and made with passion. Vik is a wonderful guy and truly wants to be a staple of the PTBO community, can't wait to try more from my new favorite place!

5 STAR TOMATO SOUP!!The staff here are very friendly and professional, it's obvious that they take pride in their cooking!I can honestly say I haven't had tomato soup that tastes this amazing since I was in Iceland, at their greenhouse.The soup that was given to me here at Vik's was absolutely amazing.I recommend this place for anyone who wants to taste real food, food that leaves you feeling full.Here's proof that the soup is good until the last drop!!Cheers!

Doesn't look like much when you roll up or walk in, but the food is top knot here and very tasty. Most of it is made by scratch and you can tell in the quality. Definitely a great spot.

Vik makes the best soup. I've tried potato, tomato and sausage, tomato and roasted peppers, and mushroom soups. The burgers and wraps are amazing as well.
