TIPS Personnel (Edmonton)

Work couple days last year to back up my hours of seasonal job I do. Then ask company to send my hours to Service Canada. Company send information that I quite .When I asked them why they did it they said ,,this is our policy,,. So if you in my shoes , doing seasonal job and rely on EI during winter months, this is not a good choice.One star for girls who work for the company. Some of them Nice and polite.

Work I slow at every agent company, they do their best to get me work. For ever grateful, they do care when no work is available. Don't hate them hate government saying alberta is booming, we're not

I have been working with Tips Personnel for about 2 weeks now and it has been amazing. I love working with the girls they took me in and gave me a shot and i am forever great full for that <3 We are like one big family :) They help me with everything i needed and they answer any questions i have.The girls are wonderful they have the best personalities and great humor.Couldn't ask for a better company to be working with :)

This place is terrible to work for. The don’t give you all the information you need. They check your social media for some reason and if they don’t like what the find, you don’t get the job. There’s no direct deposit cheque, you’ll have to go down to the location to pick you cheque. They’re only open til 6pm so you’re screwed if you don’t get there before then. And they’re closed on weekends. Friendly people… bad company.

Right out of the gate, I was dispatched to a job that pays $2 over minimum wage, with people who are awesome to work with, and that gives me just about all the overtime I need/can stand! I've worked for a number of temp labour companies over the years, and i've never had one meet my employment needs to the level TIPS has. Also, the interaction with the office is the most convenient I've experienced, with text confirmations and travel arrangements made.When I give 5 stars to this company, I absolutely mean it.

Tips personnel, is absolutely amazing at finding you suitable work for your skill set, and if you're looking to gain some new skills, Tips Personnel is the place for you. If you are looking for temporary or even full-time job placement then don't hesitate, and call or stop in, and forget the rest come to the best.

This place is horrible. Stay away!!! You fill out the information your qualified for certain types of work. Never got me any type of work. And I'm a forklift operator for 8+ years. I've been to other temp places. Again absolutely horrible. It's making me give them 1 star. Other than that BIG Fat 0 stars!!!

TIPS is an Excellent placement agency! They are an outstanding group of professionals who always go above and beyond the call to match me with right employer.As a retiary, who loves to stay active, TIPS as been quite helpful, finding me the right placement each time I'm available to work.The ladies at the front office have been extremely friendly, always helpful and have conducted themselves professionally.I've stated recommending their service to some of the news comers in my community for employment opportunity. I have worked for tips for over a year, and I personally cannot express in words how supportive the women at this workplace are of their staff. They have supported me emotionally through any issue I may have had, and are never rude or disrespectful in any way to their employees. They remember your name, treat you with the same quality of respect as any client they may aquire, and always accommodate to your personal life if need be. This is a fantastic place to aquire job skills, partake in great team building and build some serious muscle, all while earning a competitive wage. Most employers offer above standard minimum wage so it's a good starting job or a good position for students who can only work a few days a week. I couldn't have found the company that I currently work for full time without the ladies at tips looking out for me and my best interests, so from the bottom of my heart I will always be beyond thankful for these amazing women and their kindness. 10/10 would recommend.
