My son has been going here for nearly 2 years and I am extremely grateful. It has been a joy watching him develop and learn new skills. He is always excited to go and often spends the car ride home telling me how much fun he had. On the days he does not go he sometimes tells me that he misses his friends. Knowing my kid is excited to go to a place where he is learning and developing is a great comfort.Little feet Montessori Home Daycare has been a wonderful experience and I could not offer more earnest praise and appreciation.I am extremely greatful for the experience we have had.

My husband and I interviewed over 7 home daycares, and were not comfortable to let our daughter attend any of them. We are very reasonable and easygoing individuals but there are several aspects we would not compromise on when it comes to the quality and safety of a daycare. Some home daycares were set in the basement with no natural light for these young children all day; others had menus that included sugary processed breakfasts and too many pizza/nuggets/burger days for our liking; yet others appeared disorganized, unclean and without any sign of educational attempt. Our hopes of finding a balanced one were dwindling.When we came across Little Feet, we called the owner to schedule a quick visit. Shaheen was flexible enough to make time for us the same day. Within the first few minutes of meeting and speaking to her in person and stepping into her home, we genuinely knew we had found the place that would exceed our expectations and this remains the case to date. Although she was booked for Full Time spots at the time, she had one Part Time available and we took it without any hesitation and signed the contract the same evening. This has been the best daycare decision we have ever made.Children are situated on the main floor with plenty of room and natural light. She prepares wholesome, high quality and varied homemade meals every day including snacks in the afternoon. Every space is very clean and organized. Shaheen herself is an incredibly positive, professional, organized and nurturing individual. She is not only patient, calm, flexible and kind with the children in her care as well as their parents, but also has a sincere and real passion for teaching and helping them develop academically and emotionally. She is an experienced Montessori teacher and approaches each child with individual attention based on what they need and prepares daily personalized materials and activities that are appropriately challenging as well as attainable to work on their progress and confidence. The children enjoy outdoor time daily and have fun play-based time to balance the day.Our daughter started attending at age 3 and by 4 was able to read beginner books and write 3-4 letter words which is far ahead of the requirements of a 5 year old in SK. She is emotionally mature for her age, articulate and excited about learning and improving her skills with Shaheen's help. What is more, she absolutely loves going there every morning, feels more than comfortable and frequently shares without any prompts that she loves Shaheen and that she is the best teacher. There is nothing better than to see a smile on your child's face when you pick them up knowing that they have enjoyed every minute of their day. Our car ride home is always full of excited stories about all the funny and fun things she has participated in that day. She feels connected to her friends and misses them. The most important factor is that we feel completely at ease and safe sending our girl in an environment that is nurturing, learning and truly caring.All parents we met at Little Feet had sent more than one of their children there and this says a lot. We plan on sending our second child there as well over the next year.If you are looking for a daycare you won't find a better one by far I assure you! We have only praise and deep gratitude for Shaheen as a teacher and a human being! She is an absolute joy and blessing.Tip: If you are in the stages of looking for a place, make sure to contact Shaheen early on as she is popular and her spots fill up quickly.

Let me start by saying that I have never posted a review anywhere, not even with my bad experiences. But my experience with Little Feet Montessori home day care care has been so amazing and satisfying that the least I can do is to spread the word. From a mom to another, or a parent to another, if you are looking for a safe place with a teacher who truly cares, look no further! I'm a lucky parent who has had the chance to find Shaheen. My first daughter used to go to a daycare, a very new modern one with cameras and apps for parents in order to get to see their child whenever they wished. However, I was never happy since my daughter was not receiving the good care they claimed they would provide. The food was bad, she could never properly nap, she would cry alone and the staff honestly didn't care. I always felt bad to leave my child with them. Now with my second daughter who is 2 years old, even though I don't get to see her any minute I want, I am rest assured that she is in good hands. Shaheen mothers her, takes good care of her, encourages her to eat when she is being picky with food, stays with her so she can take a good nap, sends me pictures and videos everyday, and goes above and beyond to deliver a good service.My daughter has never been without me for two years, and covid situation and lock downs made everything harder, but to my surprise, she did not cry a single tear to be left with Shaheen! She had a very smooth transition with Shaheen's professional suggestions.I truly am grateful for having Shaheen as my daughters teacher and caregiver.

My experience with Little Feet Montessori has been wonderful! When my son started with Little Feet, he immediately adjusted to and embraced the warm and welcoming home atmosphere. It is amazing how much his language skills, motor skills and social skills have grown in just a few months. We love the Montessori approach to learning and play. As parents, we see this daycare as a home away from home for our son. We know that every day he is playing, learning, making friends, eating fresh and healthy food, and is so well cared for. As a first time mom, the thought of Daycare was nerve racking - but as soon as I walked in the door and met Shaheen my concerns were alleviated. We are so thankful to have found Little Feet.

I sent my little one here and am happy to watch as they learn to sound out words, and learn to read longer stories. I've heard positive comments from others about how articulate my little one is at their age and know that Shaheen has been key to that. Like other reviewers, I love that independence is encouraged and my little one gets to help make pancakes for breakfast, for example. Shaheen will also take the time to work with you and try to find solutions if you're struggling with something--for us, it was getting kiddo ready in the morning.Shaheen has also been extremely careful taking care of the kids during this pandemic, which gives me peace of mind. She has balanced safety with play well, taking the kids to a splash pad and the zoo in summer of 2021. That was the best time in probably a while to let them roam, which is still so important!

My son attended Little Feet Montessori Daycare from just before age 3 to just after turning 4 years old (16 months in total). In that time, Shaheen provided excellent care in a safe, clean, healthy and stimulating environment. She provided healthy food and loving care for the children. She had a separate play area for the babies and older children to keep them safe, as well as a nice outdoor play area. She included an educational structure to her day that made learning fun. She was reliable and even able to handle my son's severe asthma competently and safely. I would recommend sending your child to her home daycare.

My kid started Little Feet Montessori when she was 18 months old. She has learned so much in the past 5 months, and always look forward to go to daycare. She is very advanced for her age and I have Shaheen to thank for that. She treats the kids like her own and even went above and beyond picking up my kid in the morning. We are very lucky to have found a great place where our little one thrives. Thank you Shaheen!!

Little Feet has been an excellent fit for us and we HIGHLY recommend it.As first-time parents, we were very nervous putting our 18-month-old in daycare, as she had never had non-family caregivers outside the home. However, Shaheen very quickly put our mind at ease. Our daughter has flourished under her expert care, becoming more independent and social. By age 2, our toddler can feed herself, tidy up, identify all the alphabets and numbers—all things Shaheen taught her and that she would have resisted learning from us.In fact, our child follows a routine much better when she is at Shaheen’s than at home. She cares warmly for each individual child--when my daughter had a bad diaper rash over the weekend, Shaheen made sure to give her plenty of diaper-free time and use rash cream and water with each change that week, helping her heal very quickly. She is now guiding us well on toilet training. We are so incredibly grateful to have found someone like her to care for our child.

Little feet montessori daycare has been the perfect little second home for our son. As parents we appreciate the personal care, fresh home-made food and the extra effort taken to teach new skills everyday. My son went from one word to full sentences within a span of 6 months and Shaheen potty trained him at the age of 2. We are grateful for all the effort put in by Shaheen and know that our son is safe n well taken care of everyday.

Update - March 2022:My son's great progress warranted another review for Shaheen. Our little guy had just turned 4 and will be going to JK in Sept this year, but he is already capable of reading a book, and completing comprehension exercises at the SK level all on his own.Shaheen runs a great Montessori program that is creative, engaging, and makes the children grow their love and confidence in learning. My wife and I are grateful for what my son has accomplished under Shaheen's nuture and education. He is now more than ready for school.***My son has been with Shaheen for close to 3 years now. He started off being a little slow, and not very interested in learning his ABCs. Shaheen was extremely patient in teaching and encouraging him daily through fun exercises, like tracing, shapes and games, to familiarize him with alphabets and sounds while keeping him engaged. Shaheen also gave us practice sheets to be able to help him at home. Within several months, my son had gained so much more confident and he can't wait to pull out his tracing/alphabet board before bedtime to practice and show off". He's very interested and engaged now - starting to pronounce sounds of 2 letters in words. We couldn't have made it this far without all the patience
