My breakfast was awesome. Tasty and with good balance of all ingredients. Dirty chai was a little bit bitter than usual, which was great and far more better than bloody sweet pre-mix powder some cafe using. I was not sure if it was homemade chai.I'll come back definitely.

First time in today, barista was great and the coffee was both delicious and beautiful. Great flat white. I noticed they had a few board games stacked in the corner which would be neat if you were going with a friend.

I mean…. It was okay I guess. I highly recommend never order the smoothie lol, my girl and I both had stomach problems the whole day. The chicken quesadillas were chill, but overall ima just stick to coffee.

The Banbury Lane Crew greatly appreciated that the Higher Ground Capitol Hill locations skill in crafting the highlighted hot chocolate that they crafted for the YYC Hot Chocolate Festival. We looked at others but you had to pre order! Totally fine with that but it would have been nice to have that noted on the vendor’s advertisements! Thanks again for the delicious treat!

Good selection of breakfast/ lunch options ( bagels, salads, soup of the day, sandwiches and pastry). The staff was friendly but busy and the order took longer than in any other coffee shop ( and there’s only one person already ahead of me waiting to pick up her order). It’s a small store and the disappointing part was that most tables were taken by students and their computers which didn’t leave me with much choice of where I could sit with my colleague.On the positive note, they serve an organic fair trade coffee ( Kodiak Datk roast, Guatemala Medium Roast, Peru Medium Roast, Colombia Dark Roast) which was quite good.

Nice location! Free parking out front. Coffee is good but on the more expensive side. Lots of people studying and working. Staff friendly!

Great coffee! Ginger cream is AMAZING, all thanks to the wonderful barista at the counter who suggested it to me. I am hooked now! The atmosphere is very peaceful and warm. Great place to study, read, or just catch a bite with some friends! Will definitely be returning.

Friendly service, had the breakfast burrito which was surprisingly good, good coffee and great abundance of outdoor and indoor seating.
