Can't go wrong with Snow Squad! Great service at a great price. If the city plow goes by after they have done the driveway, a quick e-mail and a tractor operator arrives within 1/2 hour.

The text messaging system is never reliable. Will get text they are showing up, but then they don’t for hours. They show up at 7am on weekends when everyone is still in bed and never come again to clear driveway. Used to come twice a day during a snowstorm and now always leave half the job done. Sometimes won’t even come at all, as if they wait for it to melt.Now, in a snowstorm, they didn’t come do their job until 10pm leaving some stuck in their homes even after multiple calls and complaints. Wouldn’t recommend until they up their quality of service.The year before service was great, but it’s been downhill this year and very unsatisfying experience.

I’ve been using SnowSquad for years.Today I received one of the best clearings of my driveway. I have a few cutouts because of flowerbeds, and the driver literally took the time to go back and forth and ensure the cutouts were cleared. And to top it off, cut the banks at the end of the driveway so I have room to put garbage bins out. Virtually no final cleanup for me to do.Plus they’re using smaller tractors this year allowing the drivers to get closer to the curbs and buildings.I also appreciate the fast response to inquiries.

I'm a new client this year and I wasn't sure what to expect from Snow Squad in terms of quality of the snow removal and timeliness. They have exceeded my expectations. Their messaging system keeps me informed of when I can expect service at my home. My driveway is cleared of snow before I leave for work. They have provided exceptional service during the last couple of snowstorms. I highly recommend their services. It's money well spent for peace of mind.

Snow squad has been awesome to have this winter. Their communication before and during every storm has been top notch and the service has been consistently reliable. The operators clearing my driveway are quick and thorough, even with the challenges of my small front yard. Keep up the great work!

We are a new customer this year, recommend from a friend who used them last few years. As of now we are totally disappointed and dissatisfied with snow squad. Nothing that we were told has happened. We live in the Valley and are always the last ones to get our driveway cleaned. Today it has snowed the previous night about 15 cms. It is now 5:15 and still a driveway full of snow. We have tenants who are seniors and has trouble walking in the snow. Every time they come it’s late afternoon or evening. This is so wrong, why because we live in the Valley?? They had no problem taking our money right away. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. They got too big too fast and have lost customer service. What a shame to ruin your good customer service like this. I wish I could get at least half our money back so I could go somewhere else for my snow plowing..

We had a very challenging season with lots of wet and heavy snow- Snow Squad came through every time! They send an email to let you know they are en-route, gives you 20mins to 1/2 hr to move your vehicle so your spot can get thoroughly cleaned out.

This was our first year using this service and we could not be more pleased with the service.They always did a great job of clearing our driveway. We would highly recommend them. Always easy to contact via email. Thanks for a job well done!

Update: Snow fell last evening around 4pm-6pm, it's now almost 11am and still nothing cleared. A text was sent out at 10:41am saying they’re coming “shortly”. They arrived 2 hours later (again, not the first time we had this issue but we were told shortly meant 15-30 mins. Had to shovel our way out (again) this morning before work which nobody wants to do, especially if you're paying a hefty price for it. This has been multiple occasions now, very frustrating. Also..they blew snow from our neighbour’s side to ours..is that allowed? It’s a massive amount to be loading onto one property.Old Review: I will say, the time it takes to do the work is really quick, and they do a really good clean job removing the snow. But it doesn’t make up for the timing aspect. For what it costs for the service, and the amount of stress it’s caused my partner and I, invest that money in a good snowblower or different provider if you leave for work before 7:30am and come home by 4pm ~ they arrive at the most inconvenient of times in our experience. Usually a city plow comes during the late evening and a bank is formed at the foot of the driveway..so you can’t even get service to have that removed until next day when Snow Squad is open. I end up shovelling large amounts of snow myself. They often text saying “coming shortly” and it’s sometimes anywhere between 1-2 hours later, only once did they come 15 minutes after sending a warning out. Every snowfall we’ve had so far my partner and I had to clear our own pathway for our car, before and after coming home from work or to get out on the weekends (they’ve showed up 2pm on weekends when half the day is gone by). This service might suit you better if you’re retired or you stay home most times and leaving home at any given time is not a factor, but not if you work a job you need to get to in the morning. No consistency, the first few runs sure, we were made aware this might happen..but this is the 5th-6th run now…still inconsistent and not ahead of the snowfalls.
