Richard provided my coworkers and myself hands on training with drones and the associated programs we needed to complete missions and process the collected data afterwards. Richard and his team have provided drone imaging services for Barrick Gold at several remote mine sites over the past few years. Their work is high quality and excellent value. They've helped Barrick improve monitoring at remote sites and communicate conditions to people who are unable to visit the sites in person. This has been especially helpful over the past year as travel restrictions make site visits difficult. Richard is a pleasure to work with, very communicative and comes with lots of great ideas on how to achieve our goals. I highly recommend Hummingbird Drones!

I took the Transport Canada flight review course through Hummingbird and I doubt I would have passed the Advanced test otherwise. Richard was a great instructor and it was super helpful to get a mixture of real-world drone anecdotes as well as insight into the testing process from him through the course. After the course, Richard even gave us all his personal contact info in case we ever had questions come up in the field, and I still use the materials we got in the course all the time. If you are considering any sort of professional (or side gig) drone piloting future, this course is a must!

I can't recommend Hummingbird Drones highly enough! I attended their online ground school training earlier this year, and both the content of the course and the instructor, Richard, were fantastic. If you require any sort of drone pilot certification either for work or as a hobbyist, you won't regret signing up for a course with these guys prior to taking the exams. I did a drone course at TRU that was taught by Richard from Hummingbird Drones, he was very informative and passionate about drones and it made the course fun! I took the Advanced Drone exam right after taking the course and passed first try! Recently through work, I rented a drone from Hummingbird Drones and it was a very easy process because Richard & Robert are great to work with! Would recommend Hummingbird Drones for literally anything drone related!
