Cristina recently worked with us on a maternity and newborn photoshoot. She was more than patient and accommodating given that we have a dog who was also a part of the shoot. She came to our home and shot the photos which turned out even better than we imagined. We were so happy with the maternity shoot that we asked Cristina to shoot our newborn session as well, once our daughter was born.I have since connected Cristina with family members as we were so happy with how the photos turned out, and how easy it was to work with her. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for someone who's professional, knowledgeable, polite and punctual. 10/10.

We had an amazing experience with Cristina! We first met at the maternity shoot and she was great to work with. She listens to what images you like and aims to recreate those for you. We also had a 6 month photo shoot with our baby boy (boo to Covid, couldn’t do newborn). Honestly, all of our images from both shoots were incredible! Something we will always treasure. Cristina is a pleasure to work with, shes creative, photographs great moments, accommodating and understanding. Highly recommend working with her.

I have been using Cristina’s services for many years now and she never ceases to astonish me! Cristina mysteriously balances being an incredible artist with being infinitely patient and kind. Her ability to keep my kids motivated to pose and smile for her is a gift. And when we get the final results, they are always stunning. We’ve been working with Cristina for over 2 years and each time our expectations were exceeded.The photos have been envy-inducing - our friends and family all have been blown away. Cristina was amazing!We hired her to do a series of photos of my second born son at approximately 8 months of age (to more or less mirror the age we had pics taken of our firstborn). We took the opportunity to have her picture both sons together and some with myself and my mom in our home.Of course as is with children sometimes, my older son has a serious case of the sillies and my younger one was a little cranky and squirmy. I was stressing out assuming we wouldn't have any decent shots, Cristina was so lovely, patient and confident, assuring me she had great shots...not to worry!Boy was she right, when she went through the series of photos with me I was floored, we had so many to choose from, I actually had trouble narrowing them down. She went through each one with me, helping me make my selections, and had them ready in a crunch ( I wanted them ready for my Mother in laws birthday a short while later).Cristina is patient, professional and above all talented. Our photos are ones we will cherish for years to come and we will definitely ask Cristina to capture our future family milestones.

I found Cristina of Boy Girl Photography through the Baby Center Canada app when I was pregnant as I wanted to book a maternity photoshoot; many fellow moms were recommending her. I had reviewed her website and package details and was narrowing it down between her and another studio. Cristina was quite prompt in following up while the other studio never responded at all so after our phone conversation, we went with Cristina. We are so glad we did!We booked the ‘Belly to Baby Portrait Sessions’ and Cristina sweetened the deal for us by tossing in all the high resolution maternity shots as part of a booking promotion. Both our photoshoot experiences were amazing - we felt so natural, comfortable and relaxed. Our maternity photoshoot was the first time we met Cristina after numerous emails back and forth and we quickly built rapport; Cristina is so easy to talk to! We felt so at ease as she gave us direction on the poses and expressions, where to shoot which maternity outfits on which background, how to incorporate our own sentimental props, etc. We found our outdoor shooting venue through review of her previous work and what a gorgeous park it was. Turnaround time for the maternity shots was quick too and she was able to get them to us in time so we could make a collage for our baby shower.For the newborn photoshoot, we opted to shoot in her studio, very well stocked with a variety of backdrops, props and newborn outfits/pieces. Her guidance on selection of the colours and textures made for such rich photos. Again, Cristina was fantastic and this time, our 12-day-old son was the star! Cristina took great care to tend to him as she prepped him for all the shots in the various outfits with the many props; it ended up being a 3-hour shoot! Really goes to show that she truly cares about quality in her work. I was actually quite anxious with how our son would behave, being so young, but he was surprisingly well-behaved! We were able to freely take our time in breastfeeding twice and diapering three times without a worry!Personality and work ethic aside, what stands out is the spectacular quality of Cristina’s work. We are so pleased with how the photos from our maternity and newborn photoshoots turned out! Cristina really has an eye for capturing amazing shots and we could not envision it until we saw her work. We are so glad Cristina captured these precious memories for us and we cannot wait to receive our photography package and to surprise our parents with their first grandson’s photos. We highly recommend Cristina and will definitely continue to go to her for our future family photography sessions!

Where do I start from?We came as a new immigrant to this country and hardly knew any1. My wife was due and since no one was able to come from our home country I thought of giving my wife a surprise of getting our Maternity shoot done.I started searching photographers but none of them were ready to adjust as my wife was in the WK 34. Luckily, I came across “Boy and Girl” and when I called her, no one answered for the first time. We tried calling again the next day and Cristina answered the phone. She was humble and understood our situation and the loneliness factor we were having of not having our families.She agreed to do the photo shoot in the 34th week unlike other photographers which brought a smile on my wife’s face.Cristina came over from her place as per the time agreed and took us to a nearby location. The way she clicked the photos it looks like we are in an open field but honestly we were in the near by park. This says a lot about the kind of talent she has.She understands the needs of the customers and is flexible. Since we took the maternity and new born package, we reached out to her one fine day seeking her availability for the new born. To my surprise, she did not talk about the photo shoot at all but only kept congratulating us and seeking information about the health of the mother and the baby.The new born session was so beautifully done that I am short of words to express the feeling. I can just say WOW.Eventually she mailed us the pictures with a small gesture of sharing a story book for our son.My experience with Cristina has been magnificent and her polite nature is just the thing which you want. As a customer I did not had to worry about anything as she took all the responsibilities.Cristina will make you so comfortable during the photo shoot that you will feel she is a member of the family. This eventually lets the individual be comfortable enough to get any pose done for the photo ;-)I highly recommend people to explore the hidden talent.Thank you for everything.
