Have been taking my animals to Dr. Slater for 21 years have had nothing but good to say about the team. In an emergency they are always able to see us. I have recommended the hospital a number of friends and all were more than happy with the kind compassionate service they and their animals received.

Transferring from another clinic to be closer to home, I went for a wellness check for my senior Lab. I found the staff very welcoming and responsive to my needs and ideas. I like Dr Slater very much and respect his many years of experience. I feel I’ve made the right choice.

My inlaws take their animals to this vet. I have only been there twice. When they had to put the family cat down last year, and then last month when they had to put down the family dog. They were very nice and sympathetic. They let us take turns going in to say goodbye.

Had my dog spayed at Collins Bay Animal Hospital, they were very friendly, caring, and showed concerned for my baby. They even called me to check in and see how my baby was doing. They did a great job.

Sadly, this fantastic place is closed. We will miss you all.Everybody there is compassionate warm and very caring. My dog was so sick and hadn't eaten in days The vet aid sat down and spoon fed him so he would eat. Without a doubt, my dog adores Dr. Slater. I have never seen him react like that before.

We had an ailing cat and our vet could not fit us in. They were able to get us in within a few hours and get us looked after unscheduled. They were very helpful and prices were much better than our previous vet. They will have my business going forward. Many thanks to the team at Collins Bay !

great friendly staff. Very helpful and caring. Helped to give me 15 yrs of health and a compassionate end for my Sheba. I trust them to keep my new Cali just as healthy.

My dog absolutely LOVES coming here! Lovely staff who are always welcoming and appreciate how much our animals mean to us. Dr. Slater is wonderful! No nonsense with an amazing bedside manner with the puppers. This clinic is also very competitively priced if that is a concern. I (and my pupper) definitely recommend the Collins Bay Animal Hospital.
