Sound Finish - Cabinet Painting

The People at Sound Finish did a fantastic job. The paint work came out flawlessly. They certainly have the process down to perfection.The included consultation with an interior designer really made the difference. Highly recommended.

Because of all the great reviews I read about Sound Finish, I called to inquire about someone coming out to give me an estimate. Our solid oak bathroom cabinets need refinishing and new hinges installed.I called Sound Finish four Mondays in a row. I spoke with a pleasant person on the phone, who told me all four times that someone would call me to set up an appointment for a free estimate. However, I never received a call. If this business is too busy to take on a new job for whatever reason, they should have the courtesy to call, and not leave people hanging there. This was a very disappointing experience.

We engaged Sound Finish to paint our poorly refaced kitchen cabinets, and Joe did an excellent job. Joe, who joined Sound Finish a few years ago, recently purchased the business and is now its owner. He is communicative and kept us informed every step of the way. The entire process is thoughtfully structured to minimize downtime in your kitchen. The low voc paint used minimized paint fumes. The finish appears to be very durable (but time will tell, of course.) Joe takes pride in his work and it shows. A quality job done, and we will enjoy our cabinets for many years to come!

Goregous painted cabinets! I did the DIT project which means do it together and while I don't feel that it was easy, it was worth it and Dane really came through for me. I love the way it turned out and Dane smoothed out some of the bumps. They also delivered on time. I love my new look, it really helped my kitchen. And was affordable. Would definitely recommend them, just know going in, if you choose to help by painting your boxes that you should have at least two people to do it and its not for the weak of heart and time consuming. Thanks again to Dane, He's a rockstar.

You will not find a more professional, punctual and service orientated cabinet painting company than Sound Finish. I would (and have) recommended them to anyone doing a kitchen remodel. You’ll save over cabinet replacements and get a finish that looks better than new.

We had a great experience with Sound Finish. They did a wonderful job on our kitchen, the crew was great. It turned out even better than we had hoped. Would definitely recommend them.

We hired Sound Finish to paint our kitchen cabinets and some areas around our countertops. Andrew was our contact person. He came to our house on a couple of occasions, reviewed what we wanted done, answered our questions, and worked up a quote. After we hired Sound Finish Andrew worked with us to make certain that the color we wanted was the color we would get. On the day that work commenced, Joe and Andrew (a different Andrew) arrived exactly one time. They were courteous and professional. They removed the cabinet doors and did some prep work. They returned a week later to paint the remainder of the job. Once again they were right on time and put in a full day doing more prep work. The job took 3 days. The finished job is beautiful. After they cleaned up and left we noticed some small areas that needed a touch up. We called and spoke with Andrew who scheduled Joe to come back to our house. Again Joe arrived on schedule, attended to our issues, and couldn't have been more helpful and professional. We would recommend Sound Finish without reservation.

This review is not about the quality of their work (as I never got the chance to speak on that) but their customer service. I spoke to 2 different people, on 3 separate occasions about getting an estimate done. Each time I was told the estimator would call within one business day, and two weeks after my 3rd and final attempt, I still haven't heard back.

I decided to buck the trend. Rather than to paint my 30-year old oak cabinetry white, I instead chose to restore the wood. These oak cabinets are throughout my house - kitchen, three bathrooms and a utility room. I hired Sound Finish for the restoration. I'm glad I did! It was a two-day job. The first day, their team cleaned 30 years of grime, wood oils, etc. off of the cabinets. Once they were truly clean, they already looked better. Then they sanded, re-stained some of them, and put on finishing coats on both the interior and exterior cabinets. They also repaired damage to some of the interior cabinets and drawers. They look great! I discovered some touch up work that was needed in the kitchen, and they promptly came out and took care of that. I found Sound Finish to be timely, professional, responsive, pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

We hired Andrew and the Sound Finish team to paint our kitchen cabinets. We are extremely happy with the finished product! We are now considering hiring them again to paint our bathroom and laundry room cabinets. Andrew was really easy to work with and the job was completed slightly quicker than expected. The team is extremely detailed and puts in extra effort to ensure a high quality finish. We highly recommend Andrew and Sound Finish for all of your cabinet needs.
