La Citadelle - Hazelview Properties

The positive reviews are mostly fake. All these reviews in a matter of two weeks is a joke in this building.They keep shutting down water once or twice a month since. Today the water was supposed to be shut down from 8am to 9am, it’s 10:46am and the water is still off.The incompency of the management is mind blowing. He will be nice to you to sign the lease then ignore you for no reasons.Their technic is to answer this review asking to send them an email, an email that will stay unanswered cause they don’t have the solution to your problems.There are much better options in the area for the same price or less. This building promote a sauna that is always closed and an empty swimming pool it’s been a few years (heard that from tenants).Go away

I am very happy with my apartment in La citadel located on St Marc since year ago. Detalina at the office has been great and very helpful and issues has been taken care of on timely manner.

So far so good, Detelina she was very patient and showed me several apartments, finally I decided to choose my current apartment. The building is kept neat and tidy and someone cleans it regularly. The rooms are newer than I thought they would be. Proof that they have well maintained apartments.

Wonderful staff, and especially Detelina! I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience with her. Detelina patiently took the time to listen to my needs & helped me find exactly what I was looking her. Very professional and always a pleasure to speak with her.

It’s a building of 22 floors 16 apartments each, now two elevators are out of service!!It’s been one month one elevators is out of service, we started worrying about the 10 mins we have to wait to be downstairs!I am not gonna tell you about the water problem! it faces us everywhere.The amenities including sauna, swimming pool and squash are out of service.The administration are responsive but there is a problem with quality of the material they used in this building.One more thing we have to pay insurance after all of these corruptions.

Wonderful experience staying at Hazelview. Location is prime and facilities are up to mark. Also Detelina is the best manager one could have! Thank you so much Hazelview for a wonderful experience ❤️

Together with my mother and our two cats, I came to Canada from Ukraine. Most of all we were worried about how to rent an apartment. But we were very lucky, because the realtor Ditalina (I hope I spelled the name correctly), a professional in her field and a very friendly woman, she quickly showed us a wonderful housing option in downtown Montreal, and we rented an apartment without hesitation.I could not even dream that I would live in such good conditions here, every day I rejoice in this. And I am very grateful for the attitude towards Ukrainians, because not all landlords rent out housing without a credit history and proof of work here, and for us, newcomers, it is very difficult to provide, so I also thank the company for the support. Now, to all my acquaintances and newcomers to Canada, I first of all recommend housing here and share Ditalina's contacts.

Have to downgrade to 3 stars.THEFT of parcels EVERYWHERE.Only been here for a few months and lost more than 5 parcels!Thief stole expensive purchases, Amazon delivery, and even graduation gifts from loved ones!The management really needs to make this their No. 1 PRIORITY and have a full-time security guard/front desk staff to manage the parcels and check IDs.Current system locks delivery man out and force them to be lazy and simply leave parcels around, very insecure and disorganized, inviting to have tenants properties stolen!Other aspects doing decently, hope the office could show a similar level of competency in tackling this press issue and disgrace!—-Management still overloaded but doing a remarkable job of improving the living conditions and creating value for the property. Pretty good value for the rent now that elevators are back in service, pests are quite under control, and facilities are getting repaired. Much better than the previous management!Biggest complaint thus far - THEFT from the mailroom. They seriously need better security measures like security guard, more security cameras, and working more closely with the police. These parcel thieves steal just about anything, and your parcel would be gone if left in the room overnight or even just for a few hours.Edit 2: Unsure why the review gets hidden, very shady business practice.

The new building manager is so rude.He literally doesn't do anything, no matter what issue you are facing.The common areas are not clean, pool is not accessible permanently, and the cockroaches are a main problem!Generally, staying at this building is a huge mistake.Not recommended at all!

The people are great here. I worked with Detelina and Maya and both were really helpful and responsive on any requests during my stay with them. The building and amenities are properly maintained as well.
