They waste your time. They don’t answer your question. Until you fill out their questionnaire. But the question was do you do referral letterThey don’t answer this. Til you fill out their questionnaire. Which just asks you like your family doc and what you’ve see regarding your issue you seeking help on, etc. irrelevant to the question I asked. After I filled it and they then tell you well we might do referral it depends on what the nurse says but they are URGENT CARE so not likelyI decided to not chance it and waste more time here. Went to ER…. no nonsense and they actually answer questions

Prior to walking in, I had called to double check if I could walk in regarding a certain matter. They said yes and that I could just walk in. When I came in, first red flag was that the lady at the front desk was on her phone not doing anything work related. She then proceeded to send me home saying they don’t see patients with what I came in for…. This is why I chose to call before coming here. To prevent wasting my time. I even paid for parking and now I can’t see a doctor. Waste of my time and money.

My daughter and I waited almost 3 hours not only to not be seen but to find out that there was no doctor at all in the clinic, as well as no nurse capable of being able to write a prescription or write a requisition, which we knew we would have needed. The fact that no one told us that there was no doctor to see us Struck me as very irresponsible for a medical urgent care clinic. One man waited for 3 1/2 hours only to find out he wasn’t able to be helped at all. There were children there waiting to be seen . . When other people heard that there was no doctor, or a capable nurse on site, everyone left. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I am also reporting this urgent care clinic.

Went there for a leg infection a week and a half ago and was advised the medication my doctor prescribed should work fine. I've since been using that and the infection hasn't been improving. If anything it's been getting a bit worse. So, I went back because.. You know, it's a facility intended to help people that require urgent medical attention, and I was directed to do so by Health Link BC. I was instead informed We don't do follow ups. I can direct you to another urgent care center if you need help."They changed their tone (slightly) when I raised a valid point being that what is the point in being an urgent care center if they aren't going to treat an issue that requires urgent care because it has already been previously assessed? I was advised that I could wait two to three hours to see a nurse. This should be known that if you have already seeken medical attention at this facility and you need to return for the same issue

It depends a little on the luck of the draw (hour of day, number of visitors) whether they can receive you quickly or not-- but generally this place is quick, quiet, and very clean. When the waiting gets longer other available nurses also helped take vitals ahead of time to facilitate the process. I had to visit here twice in the span of two weeks and they helped me when I couldn't wait for a family doctor's appointment. Thank you Doctor Shona and Doctor Richard!

Do NOT come here unless you want to wait 3 hours to be told that all the sudden the Doctor will not be taking any more patients for the day!!! You will be asked useless questions by a nurse practitioner who will just recommend you to elsewhere!!!I went in here today after scavenging around the city for a clinic that will take walk in’s. I was told the wait was a couple hours. I proceeded to wait as people came and went. Someone who had come in complained to the front desk after seeing the doctor expressing how rude and “unhuman” ( in his words ) he was. That made me feel pretty uncomfortable to even go see the doctor but at this point i had been waiting for about 2 hours. The staff behind the desk were loud and seemed to be doing anything other than their job, just conversing and laughing in a room full of unwell people while getting some donair being delivered by door dash. ALSO not to mention the lady at the front desk with dark hair and glasses ( didnt get her name ) literally was talking over every patient that came in. She cut me off multiple times when i first came in, as I observed she did the same with others other the next 3 hours i was waiting there. In the waiting room i was sitting next to a man that had been there longer then me. He was called in and immediately came out after 10ish minutes and told everyone in the waiting room not to waste their time because the doctor isnt even seeing any more clients for the day. I was distraught. We all proceeded to tell the man behind the counter that it really would have been nice to be told that because were all unwell waiting to be assesed by a nurse that will only send us elsewhere and unable to even write prescriptions needed. The man behind the counter told us “we told you the doctor wont be seeing anyone else today” ……. Everyone in the waiting room got very frustrated because never did any staff members say that to any of us.Everyone in the waiting room then walked right out the door upset.Honestly worst experience in a clinic. Nonchalant staff, terrible customer service and far from the experience everyone would want when unwell in any shape or form!

I have been in Canada for so many years, this may be the first time I have actively rated and given a bad review. Two weeks ago, I was in a car accident and had severe eye and back pain. My family doctor was very difficult to contact because of the epidemic, even if there was no vacancy in the short term, I was advised to go to urgent care directly. At that time, the doctor from urgent care gave me a two-week prescription for eye ointment. My eye problems have improved. The problem is that after two weeks of using the ointment, my eye problems came back again, red eyes with a burning sensation, often with viscous liquid, and it is very difficult to open the eyes every morning. There is no way, I can only go to Metrotown Urgent and Primary Care Centre for review again, hoping to recover as soon as possible. After waiting for two hours in urgent care, I was suddenly told by the front desk that I need to go to the pharmacy to check my eyes(although I was also very grateful to the front desk for helping me make an appointment at the pharmacy), but when I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that I had been using the medicine for two weeks, so they can't resolved and I had to go to the doctor. I went back to urgent care again and finally saw a doctor after the farce, but the doctor there took less than 30 seconds to check face to face and leave without any prescriptions, and given that my eye was almost healed, told me to do nothing just leave it. Although I still had a burning sensation and yellow mucus came out of my eyes, and I told him over and over again that my eyes were getting worse after the medicine ran out, but he just smiled and stuck to his point about not needing any additional treatment my eyes would heal on their own, and said that if there is any problem in the future, come to him again, he may not know how long it takes to wait for him to check once, and how difficult it is. And it only took him 30 seconds to 1 minute from entering the door to check and give the result to leaving. If his diagnosis is correct, I would also think that he is a very experienced and confident doctor, but after experiencing eye discomfort for the next three days, the problem became more serious, and I can no longer live normally. Burning sensation, with sticky or watery fluids from the eye, the muscles around the eyes started to swell yesterday morning (ex. I originally had single eyelids, but they became double eyelids due to swelling), the most important problem is that sometimes my eyesight began to blur. Under the strong suggestion of the landlord, I went to the emergency department of the Royal Columbian Hospital last night, it should be said that this morning is more appropriate. It may be because my eyesight has declined this time, the doctor has done a lot of examinations for me and given me medicine. Now my condition is better. Although I still feel a little uncomfortable, I can also feel that it is a good trend developed.I have always believed that Canadian medicine is very developed, and the medical system is very complete. Maybe it's because I didn't see a doctor much before, if it wasn't for the car accident. I understand that medical staffs may be very stressful and busy at work every day, but in fact, every patient has their own life and work, and time is equally important to them. medical staffs are noble, I respect and thank every medical staff very much, but I think the nobleness of medical staff is not the title of medical staff, but that they will help every patient seriously and responsibly, and every diagnosis, even every sentence of them may be particularly important to the patient. I don't know if this is an individual case of mine, or a common occurrence. In this experience, rather than saying that I have no other choice and feel depressed, it may be more that I feel the helplessness of the patient.

They shouldn’t be called urgent and primary if you can’t do primary care! “This is urgent care only. You can go to a different clinic” that’s what one of the girls at the front desk said. They need to get it together. One says you can do this and other says you can’t. I honestly don’t even know if they know what is offered at this clinic to tell the public.
