I dropped into Costco for some cheap gas and then went shopping at Dollarama. At Dollarama I picked up some peanuts in the shell which are 2 dollars cheaper than most stores.The Blue Jay birds love peanuts.

My unbiased opinion is the area isvery well run and thought out. If one was to come from other place and have no beef with Danny Williams, and you are not from the east end feeling robbed that Stavanger is dieing the area is excellent and on it's way considering the bureaucracy it had to overcome in the news. The roads are well planned, there are adequate traffic circles, and room to grow. My only beef would be there needs to have a overpass connection on the highway for transport trucks and people from East end and North side of the TCH, so they never have to go through the traffic circles, that is the only dumb thing I've seen.

Good shops, but so out in the open and exposed there's always wind... May be hard for seniors or those with mobility issues to get in/out of vehicles on very windy days.

Staff kinda know their stuff but also like to sell. What I mean by that is they will say everything is great but depends on individual. Sure kinda true but some products are lower grade then others for obvious reasons. Yet it's all great! Like grade stuff.. this is an A smoke, this is a A+++ smoke or something.

Couldn't find a worse place to put big box stores, matter of time before the highwinds cause injuries and damages. Utterly puzzling why this area was chosen for new development

If you live nearby, it has most of your essentials. You can find all these stores elsewhere around St John's and surrounding area so you don't have to come here if it's out of the way, which is nice. Having Costco nearby is a huge plus!
