They have really amazing selection of dresses at fair prices.Dress arrived right on time as I was quoted and it was really convenient to pick up on a Saturday when I was available.Definitely worth checking out.

Awful experience! Went in last week to get some ideas and look at accessories for my wedding dress and bridal party gowns and was totally looked down on from the moment my MIL to be and I entered. Sneered at me for not having an appointment and tossed a belt on the counter for me to look at and stormed away. When I attempted to ask questions about other items available I was given one word answers from the other room. She couldn't even be bothered to speak to my face. I am an older bride, so not her typical clientele I am sure. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

I purchased bridesmaid dresses from here for our wedding last year and also had alterations on my dress done here. The service was mediocre at best. On multiple occasions we arrived at the shop for our appointment to find the door locked and no one on site. We had to reschedule multiple times and continuously follow up to make sure things were on track with alterations. Our dresses were finally ready only a day or two before the wedding so some of my bridal party couldn't even try them on or get any more alterations done as we had no time left. The alterations job was also not done well. It's unfortunate as the shop has very nice wedding dresses with a good selection. However, I would not recommend getting any work done here as you will likely regret it.

Absolutely terrible business! I bought my wedding dress here and had them hem it. They hemmed it 3x and each time I went in for a fitting, it was still too long. The third time I picked it up a few days before my wedding and they made me sign a statement saying I was pleased with the alterations. It was still too long, but I had to take the dress as my wedding was that weekend. Sure enough I tripped going down the aisle and my foot went through my gown.When I called afterwards to complain, these terrible women had the audacity to accuse me of changing my shoes!!! They wouldnt give me a refund on the hemming because of the paper they MADE me sign so I could take my dress home. Avoid at all cost!

My experience at Antoinette was incredibly disappointing! To start, there was not a lot of variety in style on the racks, and none of the sample dresses were size inclusive - the largest we could find in store was a 14. This was a red flag as I had indicated my size when I booked the appointment. I tried on a few dresses anyway, and my attendant (who is the owner of the business) didn't even try to clip them closed so I walked up to the front just holding the dresses to my chest. I believe this person is in the wrong line of work - she clearly did not want to be there and even said it is tiring helping people in and out of these dresses all day!The only positive that came from this appointment: it sealed the deal at Brides by Tara (who were wonderful). Go there!

Had the absolutely worst experience here approx for the purchase of 4 bridemaids dresses and alterations to a wedding dress.We ordered our dresses approximately 6 months prior to a wedding which got canceled and changed to a later date due to covid, so even more time to be prepared. After ordering was told our dresses were sitting in Toronto for a length of time with no communication to when we would recieve them prior to the wedding.Once received we made multiple appointments to get alterations completed. 2 weeks later to go pick up one of the dresses after a fitting, we show up, door is locked we called and called as it appeared closed during our scheduled pick up time. The owner ended up calling us back about 30 later and telling us to come in 1-2 hours.  So we went for lunch. When we got back and the alterations on the dress appear scrappy and done minutes prior to us returning to the store. No finished seams on the straps.. just cut and tac stitched. The Bra inserts she asked us to bring in was cut and placed with 8 tac stitches,the sides of the bra were cut and not pinned we ended up having to finish the job ourselves. I paid 60 dollars to have 10 stitches put into my dress. On top of the insane 100 dollar plus size fee for my dress. Yes, I get being a plus size women I do pay more for more fabric, but to announce it to everyone in the room I will be paying more (never a high amount more) based solely on my size was rude and inconsiderate to someone spending 400 dollars on a dress.Also our bride, didnt get her dress till the day before. Also lack of preparation on their part, they asked for it to picked up the day of the wedding... they had months to be prepared!! and once we got the dress there appeared to be seams were put into the dress that were specifically asked not to be put into the dress down the back.The boutique itself was pretty, the location was great as you could do brunch close-by while dress shopping. But if we had known the amount of headaches and disappointments we wouldve encountered by buying our dresses here and getting them altered, we wouldve travelled hours to go elsewhere.I do not recommend anyone use this boutique unless you are buying straight from the rack.

I had a good experience shopping here. The dresses she has cannot be beaten in peterborough, they are a higher quality and by gorgeous designers. I found her very helpful in looking for styles that might look good on me, she was also patient as I tried on alot of dresses! After a second appointment I found my beautiful dress and I could not be happier!

My mom, future mother in law, and I had the most wonderful wedding dress shopping experience at Antoinettes recently. Not only do they have stunning wedding gowns that are in a very reasonable price range, but we received impeccable service. Due to covid restrictions, we were able to have the entire store to ourselves for our appointment. We arrived a couple minutes early and she started working with us right away and did not rush our experience at all. Her attention was 100% invested with us the entire appointment. She let us select whatever gowns we wanted to try, and pulled other gowns that she knew would fit the description of what I was looking for. About halfway through my appointment, I knew I was going to choose between two dresses I had tried and fell in love in and I didn’t want to waste her time so I indicated I didn’t need to try any more dresses on. However, she encouraged me to try the rest of the gowns we had pulled on and to retry on my favorite gowns. I truly felt she was invested in making sure I felt 100% confident in my choice of gown and I didn’t feel rushed at all. She was so patient with us and just wonderful to work with. I had previously worked as a bridal consultant at David’s bridal and our experience was truly everything I hoped for. Needless to say I found the most beautiful gown for my wedding. It’s unlike any gown I have seen and it was truly a dream come true. I am just counting down the days until it arrives. Thank you antoinettes for such a lovely experience!

BUYER BEWARE: I have never received such terrible customer service. I had six bridesmaids, all purchased their dresses from this store and every single one of them had a problem.I wrote a very long detailed review but apparently it was too many characters so here's the short version.We were told the girls would receive 10% off. They did not, and we had to fight with them for a half hour to get it.They would not ALLOW my bridesmaid to order her dress because they were too busy". They forced her to do it later. We would have gone elsewhere but four girls had already ordered their dresses. They were unbelievably rude to her.They lost my other bridesmaid's order and insisted that she had never placed the order. We were told her dress wouldn't be in until a week after my wedding and then was told there actually was a dress ordered for her but not with her name. We were told multiple lies

Great options of dresses both bridal and bridesmaid. Good prices and great job making alterations to the dresses.The only down side is communication. Needs to communicate a little better as to when I needed to pick up the bridesmaid dress as I drove an hour and a half to end up not having my dress ready. I tried to call in advance (called 3 times) to avoid this, but no one answered the phone...Other than that, great place!
