This record and cassette shop has a great selection and the prices are worth the trip. The owner always has good tunes playing which makes me want to hang around and browse longer. Winnipeg needs more of these cool independent places. Other cool places near buy too! Location is great and definitely grab food at the Thai place on the corner. Wall Street Slice near by too!

This record shop is A little out of the way with not much around, the only way you’re going to find this place is if you are actually looking for it.Great Jazz, funk and hiphop section. The metal and punk sections are lacking, but that may just be a timing this#recordshop#recordstore

Great selection of both new and used vinyl, far more diverse than you'd think it would be. It would take hours to go through everything in the store, but I went in looking for a few specific artists and was able to pick up 3 LP's that I'd been trying to find. I will most definitely be back here for more in the future. I would also like to add that the prices are great. I am looking forward to regularly visiting from now on.

The owner has been nothing but great to us. He'll order stuff he doesn't have (I know I can but I support local) and has tasty jams playing on the house system. The selection is right up up alley with old Soul/R&B/Jazz and he also has a big selection of rock/classic rock. Haven't been there in awhile but itching to go back. Both used and new vinyl are available.

Great local record shop with huge selection of used and new vinyl and even some cassettes and other media. Cavin is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing go the extra mile for the customer. My favourite record shop in Winnipeg. It is well organized but packed floor-to-ceiling, so be prepared to dig through the bins for used records. Lots of great stuff so be patient and have a seat on one of the many stools provided for your comfort when digging through the lower bins. He gets new arrivals (used vinyl and new) every two weeks, so it's worth going back regularly to check. Highly recommended!

A couple months ago I visited this store where I got my very first vinyl record album to kickstart my collection!Owner was very kind and considerate, and communication both over the phone and in person was fantastic! Was able to put an album I had had my eye on for a while that I wanted to be the first in my collection on hold for a few days since I lived outside the city and could not stop by until later on in the week. Could not be happier!While my visit was a short in and out, just entering the store I could tell they have a wide selection to choose from and if I had had the time, I would've for sure like to have checked it out. Will definitely be coming back!

Well-curated collection of new and used records. Best shop in town. Newsletter shows used stock week to week too. Cozy crate digging vibe in the shop.

Bought few brand new records there about year ago ….. price was good but the albums themselves seamed very thin and the sound was questionable. If you don’t care bout sound quality than go nuts but I won’t shop there again.
